I went to see that movie with my then boy-friend back in the 70's. 2 months after that, he joined the Navy, & the SEALS respectively!!! I've listened to CCR for year & I just now noticed something about this song. You can plainly hear that the guitar part/riff from 2:13 - 2:27, is the same as in the beginning of "Smokestack Lightnin'" by Howlin Wolf. Same key & everything, but Wolf's original version is a little slower & has a "swing" tempo/feel to it. I wonder if Wolf is credited or got royalties? Men @ Work "Land Down Under" used a flute riff from Marion Sinclair's, 1930's "Kookaburra" song & were forced to pay royalties.
