@parkinsontatak That really depends on the individual and how well-rounded they are. For example some people don't practice chords so songs with a lot of chords could be very difficult.. While some people do mostly chords so more shred-type things would be difficult. On a combination of both.. This song is very advanced, but type in search "paganini caprice no 24" First video that shows up.. That's very difficult in chords and shred, though some may find it boring.. Hope that answered it.

@aero3132 See, I'm a drummer [don't wanna toot my horn, but i'm no novice] but I do play guitar as well. It's mostly chords, though. The guitarists in my bands make me look like shit on guitar, but really, I can play some awesome acoustic chord progressions...lol. But they shred AND do chords and do other awesomeness. That's irrelevant but I felt like commenting. Happy new year! lol

If you practice both a LOT then yeah, but most people tend to be one trick ponies or prefer one more strongly leaving the other as a weaker ability that they can still do to a point, but not as strongly as the other.. That was just a general example.. There's way more to it.. tapping, legato, tremolo use, different types of patterns. all of it. Just because I can play Constant Motion doesn't mean I can do Panic attack and so on.
