Damn, I remember when I first heard this on the radio (shout out to 93FM WZAK) in '97. Then I saw the video on The Box (Channel 32 in Cleveland back in the day). I fell in love with this song and I still love it now. I like all three versions of this song but Shirley's version is classic and this is number 2. Those dancers at 4:05-4:06 looked gay for backin' their butts up at the end.

It actually makes doin' a remake relevant, cuz most times when people do remakes, @ best it sounds exactly like the original, and in my opinion, if you gon' do the song over like it was already done, what's the point? She didn't try to sing it like Shirley, she just did it like Dana, unlike Kelly Prices version. I love me some Kelly, but she could've kept her remake cuz it pretty much sounded like the original minus Shirley's trademark growlin'.
