Thank you so much for this video. The computer repair shops wanted to charge me between $60-$80 just to put the keyboard in if I bought the keyboard myself. Thanks to your video, I was able to repair the keyboard for less than $9.

Hey I have a 1526 and the screen just won't turn on but the lights and every thing else does, like it goes like its okay but then just the lights go and then that's it what's wrong with it or what has to be done?

@TheSuperbiker23 Rule of thumb, if the screen is always dim, and just went out one day and never came back on, then it is most likely the inverter board. If the screen went dim and then you rebooted and came back on, and it would work sometimes and now it is flashing on for a second and going back to dim or displays a reddish pinkish tint/hue, then most likely it would the back light and the entire screen will need to be replaced.

@dellpartspeople uhhhmm the screen like wont go on at all the laptop just goes on like if it is going to go but it doent show anything at all its like the whole laptop is off.
