Yes they declared war, but actions speak louder than words. The attack on Germany would have relieved the polish forces, and the Soviet Union would probably not attack Poland.
are you sure they only had 10 divs on the front? I thought there were at least 2 times more, but anyway France did attack for a few days on some areas, but somehow they retreated back to their Maginot line and decided to stick with the defense. Quite sad since they had numerical advantages.

Polish armed forces are pathetic; bunch of cowards. Warasw uprising was a failure; at monte cassino there were around a 1000 poles out of 105,000 allied soldiers. Over 75% of the BOB pilots were british.
Real Historical facts:
1. Polish Armed forces ran like beaten dogs after 5 wks of fighting the nazis.FACT!
2. The armed forces left the civilians to die and thousands were killed.FACT!
3. The polish armed forces did not fight to the death and to the last bullet; they are cowards.FACT!
German forces: 48 divisions of infantry, 10000 cannons, 2700 tanks, 1300 planes. Polish forces: 39 infantry divisions, 4300 cannons, 880 tanks, 400 planes. Still Polish forces managed to destroy around 1000 german tanks, 700 planes, 370 cannons, and 91278 KIA german soldiers another 98355 WIA. Polish forces lost 66000 KIA, 133700 WIA, 694000 POW. Polish forces hold pretty good, till 17.09.2009, when they were attacked by Russians.

While the max speed of German tanks seems to be far lower than in reality.
This game is a bit inaccurate because German tanks in 1939 were using white crosseS, not black ones (black crosses were in use since 1940). Also Polish cavalry was using cavalry helmets (modernized French model 15 helmets - Polish type 31 cavalry helmet), not infantry helmets type 31.
I hate the propaganda that the krauts took poland by storm when in fact the krauts suffered high casualties and through out the war polish soldiers were some of the fiercest soldiers in the allied armies

Yes they declared war, but actions speak louder than words. The attack on Germany would have relieved the polish forces, and the Soviet Union would probably not attack Poland.

are you sure they only had 10 divs on the front? I thought there were at least 2 times more, but anyway France did attack for a few days on some areas, but somehow they retreated back to their Maginot line and decided to stick with the defense. Quite sad since they had numerical advantages.

Polish armed forces are pathetic; bunch of cowards. Warasw uprising was a failure; at monte cassino there were around a 1000 poles out of 105,000 allied soldiers. Over 75% of the BOB pilots were british.

German forces: 48 divisions of infantry, 10000 cannons, 2700 tanks, 1300 planes. Polish forces: 39 infantry divisions, 4300 cannons, 880 tanks, 400 planes. Still Polish forces managed to destroy around 1000 german tanks, 700 planes, 370 cannons, and 91278 KIA german soldiers another 98355 WIA. Polish forces lost 66000 KIA, 133700 WIA, 694000 POW. Polish forces hold pretty good, till 17.09.2009, when they were attacked by Russians.

In the battle of mokra the Germans actually lost over 100 tanks, and around 800 men. It was one of the greatest Polish victories of the campaign.

I guess that also the efficient range of AT fire of Polish 75mm field guns and especially 37mm AT guns is too big in this game, similar thing is also with UR AT rifle.
While the max speed of German tanks seems to be far lower than in reality.

This game is a bit inaccurate because German tanks in 1939 were using white crosseS, not black ones (black crosses were in use since 1940). Also Polish cavalry was using cavalry helmets (modernized French model 15 helmets - Polish type 31 cavalry helmet), not infantry helmets type 31.

Sorry Wildcat but I must disagree with you. The Germans didn't really make the war, it was their leadership, combined with the poverty. We have a similar situation right this very moment in our current world of a wide spread poverty, and nations bucking each other for very much needed resources. Hopefully we can avoid any major wars also right now, but it is obvious that we can not avoid the small wars as they are already happening. Leaders tend to utilize war to help people forget poverty.
