my 2 year old cousin can do numbers up to 30, and all of the alphabets. And he can kind of read some things. He can read very short words like "stop". If he sees "change" he'll read "chaan"(or something like that...usually gets the beginning of the word). Children are such amazing little creatures....i feel like we learn a lot by just observing their behaviors and way of thinking. They're a lot smarter, stronger and much more observant than we think!

Wow what a cutie! If my 17 month old could count to three I'd be parading him all over the streets. That's an impressive accomplishment.
