Complain about the ending all you want, but this is how the song actually ends.. it's the real song, not some cheap cover.
The song normally fades out during the last solo, so you never really get to hear the end anyway unless you blast it at top volume. I assume the added to the end in GH 80s for this reason.. but hey, this is better because it's the real deal. :)

Rock band took the guitar concept because the guitar is a crucial rock instrument. Howver, they innovated the drums and mic for the game. Guitar Hero could have just kept making guitar only games, but they copied RB. Yes it was a business move to keep up in the market, but they still ripped MTV games and Harmonix off
When you use hyperspeed the same skill is involved as without using it. Some players can FC songs with it and some can FC without it. It doesn't make anything easier lol.
That or people find they like a quick paced play, even though the song is somewhat slow.
That's what I did for GH 2 after I finished the game and found it fun/harder to finish a few songs with. So your who idea of "hyperspeed is for losers" is very flawed. ;)
hyperspeed is a preference, but its also a cheat. if you r getting "your preference" from the cheat menu and your scores are higher on hyperspeed then the regular speed scores then u r cheating because u changed the gameplay that the designers had set for u in order to improve your scores. its simple as that.
It's not a cheat, Harmonix and Neversoft have clearly stated that it's not a cheat- The notes don't physically hit any faster, it's just the spacing. The Guitar Hero website tracks Hyperspeed scores like any other scores.

Well, when it was introduced, it was a CHEAT that you had to look up/figure out to use.
The point of it is to speed up the fret board so that notes come at you spread out, making them easier to see.
I see it as a way for losers to get through stuff they normally couldn't... Not that everyone who uses it NEEDS it. Like the guy who made this video.
