Her vocals seem to be so much different, she seems so much more relaxed, her body language is different, she seems like she's really ENJOYING doing these songs...

I think this genre showcased the very best of Cher's talents. Her delivery and style was stunning. Cher sang these songs with such emotion too. I could listen to her sing these tunes all day long. And did I mention... what a beauty! Come on Cher, make a new album and put a new twist on these awesome songs.

This song was actually a single that was released off her album called "Bittersweet White Light" from the early part of 1973. It made it as high as #111 on the charts though, I don't recall ever hearing it on the radio where I lived.

you can buy the Cher CD Bittersweet The Love Songs and almost all the songs she did on the show are on it. Not live but studio versions. It was made from a album she did called Bittersweet White Light and then they added a couple of songs to it and released the Cd.

I love these lyrics, and even tho the melody is so melancholy, CHER can ALWAYS do BLUES with transcending effect as she changes keys amazingly at the finale. Me thinks she could re-do this and add some REALLY Southern Funk to happy it up for the times~
