Rickman did a movie w/mos def.one scene was funny to me at least. He called for mos to come to the operating room where he was performing surgery on a baby(1930scirca). The parents are outside sweating it. Then this little black guy rushes to the o.r. door. they see him and say OH MY GOD.... they thought their kid was dead, I thought, and this must be the guy who cleans up LOL....actually he saved the child by assisting the Dr. . "something the lord made" was the movie. about a true story.

alan rickman is great but he doesn't know much of Orthodoxy. that's the Catholic blessing gesture. an Orthodox monk (well rasputin wasn't quite an Orthodox) would have given the blessing in a different way.
