  • I thought the UK had the slightly larger version of the Kestrel called the Sparrow Hawk.

  • The seaside footage was taken on walney island in cumbria. The insect feeding footage was (I think) taken at a motorway service station but I've noidea where apart from it was in the UK.

  • thats awsome...over here in texas instead of seein many kestrels u see dozens of hawks...if u really know wat u r lookin for u see a kestrel every now & then...in the british virgin islands were my dad is from its the other way around..u see kestrels instead of hawks

  • Here in the southern u.s. I've witnessed them take insects(cicadas),rodents,and small reptiles and birds.They are amazing little members of the falcon family.
