I was a big fan of the show as a kid, and I LOVED this film. I actually liked the direction w/BA because it gave him more depth as a character. Sharlto was my absolute fav (he brought Murdock to life!). There were several nods to the original material, but I was happy that they didn't just try to reproduce the TV series and brought a piece of themselves to their roles. These characters are the best of friends (and the only family they actually have) & I love how it translated in the film.

Good movie. I didn't like the van getting totaled. I didn't like BA vows of no voilence. I didn't like that Hannibal never disguised himself but aside from that it was a good film.

@captcrais101 Yea I surprised how much I enjoyed the flick, but I agree with most of your BA comments. I would have liked BA to be a bit tougher, to balance out his comedy moments. Hopefully we'll see the van, more BA ass kicking and some Hannibal disguise's in the sequel. (if they make one)

@eluno333 Yeah... I said its a "commercial," not reality. Go watch The Green Berets starring John Wayne and then rewatch A-Team and you'll see what I mean about it being a recruitment commercial. That's not a bad thing and I'm not denigrating the movie (I like it alot) or Rangers, I'm just pointing out its intentions.

Commercials never portray the reality of the product anyway, that's why I called it a "commercial."

The real BA made it hard for Rampage. The real BA's character was better to me. In this new A Team BA is softer than the original BA. Face is not as clean in my opinion. Face kept his cool a lot more too. I like the movie though but I wish that the original A Team would have made a movie when they all were at their prime!

I haven't seen this movie yet, but for some reason the whole "flying tank" think bothered me. I get it's supposed to be crazy, but how impractical is that. First I doubt if parachutes could even hold up a 50 ton war machine. And second what a easy target for a jet, a big stationary object with very limited range. Can you imagine if a gen-5 jet showed up, like a Raptor or an Eagle. Show over. But then again, I doubt logic will be this movie's strong point.

@smoke126857 I suppose, but Rangers don't use tanks do they? I thought they were mostly recon and extraction units. I mean I'm sure they're well rounded in all forms of combat (particularly close range), as well as skilled paratroopers, but I'm not sure if they actually use tanks, as stealth I imagine would be their forté. However you're right, it's not impossible just not really practical. But I suppose my biggest mistake is looking for logic in a film based on a bad 80's television show.
