I have seen this guy in person. he is no con artist. I saw him in Portland. While waiting to see his conference, I met a midwest white girl who was as normal as apple pie. Half way into his presentation, this girl just went off. I was actually brought to tears by the experience. you just cant imagine the rage, the almost morphing of her face, she spoke in Indian. I didn't say I don't believe in anything. I am not Christian in the sense you describe it. I think the choice to do bad or good is ours which is influenced by our upbringing and environmental influences - not the result of some "Satan" figure who takes over peoples minds and controls them. I've been exorcised and I wasn't possessed. My Dad still conducts these sort of rituals and he IS a bad person. I have seen this guy in person. he is no con artist. I saw him in Portland. While waiting to see his conference, I met a midwest white girl who was as normal as apple pie. Half way into his presentation, this girl just went off. I was actually brought to tears by the experience. you just cant imagine the rage, the almost morphing of her face, she spoke in Indian. She had witches in her. There were no cameras, no viewers to impress, just a small conference audience of 25. Why would she do that?

I didn't say I don't believe in anything. I am not Christian in the sense you describe it. I think the choice to do bad or good is ours which is influenced by our upbringing and environmental influences - not the result of some "Satan" figure who takes over peoples minds and controls them. I've been exorcised and I wasn't possessed. My Dad still conducts these sort of rituals and he IS a bad person. It seems to me a method of exerting authority over people to inflate the exorcists own ego.

Firstly, the people attending his seminars know what to expect at one of his "exorcisms" (how they should act).
Secondly, Larson pulls faces, shouts and screams at them, pushes their foeheads bending thier necks back, strikes them on the back, and shoves a Bible into their throat. - If this doesn'r get them agitated, nothing will!! If Larson were to do this to a normal person, he would probably end up in hospital (or court)!!

Well, Bob Larson does free seminars. I didn't pay a dime to see one of his seminars. Donations are optional. This is his full-time job, so obviously he makes money through other means. The media always takes low-jabs and attacks on "controversial" things. I think there is a real lack of deliverance ministries out there. Think about all the suicides and murders that have been prevented as a result of his ministry. While I don't agree with some of his financial practices, I'm not against him.

You are treading on dangerous ground with these kinds of statements. The Pharisees did the same thing you are doing. They accused Jesus of driving out demons by Beezlebub, the prince of the devils. Read Matthew 12:22-32. Exorcists are the human instruments, but the Holy Spirit is the force that is at work. I've met him and he always makes sure Jesus gets the glory at the end of the exorcisms.

What's the big deal about this woman? I act this way each time I see Jessica Alba or Jennifer Love Hewitt. It takes a whole hell of a lot more than an exorcism to get that out of my body. I like to give myself the exorcist.

Bob Larson is deceived. The Bible does not teach that Christians can be demonized, and that is part of his teaching. These so-called demons are not real demons (although they do exist) but inner issues called demons. Larson is walking in deception and worse yet, he's not open to correction.

I strongly disagree. I think he really is casting out real demons, BUT I disagree with that also because of the way he's doing it. Demons will return and cause even worse problems the next time, if you don't remove the roots and things that they use as a foothold first.
