  • Any body planning on doing this for a winter project??? Come on guys, its fun.

  • @deuce217 No Doubt. Still Dope As Hell.

  • @AudiFiveThousand

    Thanks boss.

  • That Looks Like The Rare Blue Top H23 Dohc Vtec Only Made In Japan... But It Could Just Be A Cover

  • @AudiFiveThousand

lol, yeah its a 5 dollar paint job..

  • Hey guys great job but just one little thing, is that subframe finished, as you have a bar from the front running to the subframe tower mount (the part that goes to the top of the bulkhead with the big bolt) but you dont seem to have a bottom bar running around the bottom of the side towards the subframe. Just thought it would add stength and flex?

  • @SJWellsable

Check out the other videos I have on it. We have the support beams running under the engine and they bolt to the firewall..

  • Lol, yeah we should put half of a tractor tire on top of the mini so when it rolls over itself it rolls back onto the tires.

  • That honda engine has a mini cooper on it. lol.. and hey becareful when u brake.. might cause u to do a nose dive then front flips lol

  • B16

  • h22?

  • i would of put a 4g63 turbo motor lol :)

  • @CHIPYCHIPYLOVE

Me too. But its not mine.. I am building a gt25 turbo d16y8 right now.

  • @deuce217 So does the tranny come with the engine?

  • @Willstahified Yes.

  • Is it the stock transmission from the original engine?

  • @Willstahified Yeah its the stock one.

  • Sure, but there is alot more info needed for the price. I.e. what motor/ tranny? WHat year mini? Are you supplying anything? Or do you just want to buy a car done and supplies all purchased through us? If so it would cost around 20k US. The mini in the video is being sold with out the body work being finished for 12k.

  • would u guys build another hole completely vtec mini cooper and sell it?? and how much??

  • No my brother in law has not finished the body work yet..

  • Have u sold it yet?

  • @seize2adbu Not yet. It not mine..

  • Damn, Owen Wilson... At least I don't look like him. lol

  • you sound like owen wilson

  • I saw the fan that sits besides the rear wheel and immediatly thought it was some insane widening :P awesome build guys!

  • @Ugleskjegg Thanks.. Glad you like it.

  • It has about 180hp witht the type-r pistons.

  • Has this been done properly so the wront wont need the ugly nose lengthaning?

& how much power dose this mini have?

  • @adamswindells1

The front will be stretched a few inches, great question. As far as right or wrong... It is what it is.

  • @deuce217 Well. it's not my mini so i can't complain about that. just do it properly & you will have a nice car

  • if you dont mind me asking, but how much did this cost??

  • @SparkzArtz

Which cost are you referring to? The fab work?

  • @deuce217 Can I get an est. on the price for the motor/work done to get it all in place.

And maybe an est. time on labor.

  • @Goststriker

Do you have the motor and tranny? Or do you just have the car and need everything supplied and installed?

  • very nice setup. want 2 do something like this

  • @carfreaks1024

    thanks.

  • R only 2 spots on the body holding the engine frame? R u going to add a lower sub frame support to insure that the engine does not drop in case of an accident or a weak weld point. Hope to see more!

  • @beyondbelief360

There is only 2 spots holding her on top near the suspension towers and on the bottom we have two sub frame pipes mounted under the floor boards. They are on our part 3 video. hopefully the welds hold..

  • how do you align that engine??

  • @MrKawolsky

It is aligned with a special tool called a micrometer eye. A tool an old machinist showed me. It works very well.

  • I helped build that motor

  • @MrReefurcheefur I'm a witness...... give me a reason homes! :D

  • Great project! I was thinking of doin a B16A swap too. About the axles, what method would you use to weld the two axles together? i may have some suggestions.

  • @FlippahCB

I was thinking of turning them down with a lathe where they meet. putting a large chamfer on each half then weld the hell out of them past the normal outside diameter, then turn them again and slide a sleeve over. weld that. Then if that fails order custom ones through the drive shaft shop.

  • @deuce217

Sounds like a plan. THats basically what i would suggest. All the best with your build
