During the first 20 sec the violin was rushing it. The song plays at a bit slower pace. At the point 00:40 its just out of place. After 00:50 the entire band starts to synchronize together.

But since this is a performance, to screw one part is the same as screwing up the entire song. I would know since I played in a band as both a flute and alto sax player.

Once you screw up the flow of the music is gone.

So I'm doing research on music and music theory and you guys wanna know why this performance isn't in a like a grand orchestra like Eminence is normally is? Well, Elfen Lied is written in the key of A Major (actually F# Minor), A Major is normally seen a lot in Chamber music. Looking at the set up in this video, this looks like a Chamber set-up. From what I can count, there's only nine people in this video playing. Typical chamber music have at least 6-12 people playing.
