  • I just came here to check out what VB would look like and it looks just fantastic, so easy and good start off language for beginner programmers

  • Why don't they use Hello Bitch instead of world.

  • Thanks for the tutorial!

  • Java < VB

  • @TheRobinNet I think each languages got different approaches and purposes to learn them. I know you can make cool video games and helpful programs from all those languages but programming languages like Java, the language is used mostly for finance purposes(My teacher in college once told me) and C++ are used for making high-end graphical programs and stuffs. So my point is there are no VB > Java because each languages have specific purposes of using them

  • @TheRobinNet Your logic is broken

  • Cheers onlivegamer...

  • It was really useful Ty!

  • Everytime i put parameters i put a semicolon at the end.I've done way too much java these past few months

  • what language is this? this is NO WAY C++

  • @JakobRobert00 VB.NET

  • @Zeiterius ah ok

  • WHAT IS HAPPENING! YOU ARENT USING C++ LANGUAGE WHAT LANGUAGE ARE YOU USING?....

  • @Chriscs7 ... hes using visual basic... hence the title 'Visual Basic Tutorial - 4'...

  • @djjosh81 well one comment below said that he was using c++ lol ,then when i checked the video i noticed that it wasnt c++

  • i downloaded this.. but im following a 2006 visual basic tutorial T__T

  • What is "Module"? What is "Module1"? Why are they both there and what is the difference? Are they always there in every program?

  • @Immutable92 Yes it is nessesary in every program

  • @Immutable92 A module is part of a program that runs in a console window, like CMD for example. Not every program has them. Modules could be used to log events or to just make a simple text only application like a command line.

  • 317th!

  • I found the story behind the origins of the "hello, world" program. Look for "hello world program" on wikipedia and read the history.

  • instead of hello world im going to write MY penis is massive please eat it but if your a guy DONT or i may piss in your mouth"

  • People always use Hello world for the first project ! HA !

  • @FSXuLee yeha it's a tradition i think

  • @marinipiero I think it makes comparison of coding languages really good

  • @martti010 yeha totally true.

  • @FSXuLee thats because in most languages it's like the simplest program you can make

  • @FSXuLee cuz they dont wanna embarrass u with complex shit u cant comprehend dumbass

  • @FSXuLee I believe it's because it was the first broadcast on the internet? Something along the lines of that.

  • @FSXuLee i started on webbrowser, lol XD

  • @FSXuLee It's a simple program that developers commonly use.

  • First!
