  • Her kung fu is strong.

  • a woman floating in water....hmmmmm

  • She controls her floating by also her breathing (influencing her metacentre / buoyancy).

  • Not floating - swimming monk woman.

  • NEWS FLASH.

    fat floats

  • 1979 Floating Olympics champion

  • Salt!!!! You can do the sane in the dead sea because ot has such a high level of salt.

  • Ok...this is nothing special. It is physics. She is a woman, which means she has knockers. Knockers = fat which floats.

  • Whats the music...? must know!

  • Light weight

  • Well she is floating..:/

  • OMG! she's actually floating in water!! that's amazing. must be a miracle

  • that suppose to be Nun not monk woman.

  • who came to the super human side of youtube just because they watched the movie chronicle and are now intrested? lol ;3

  • @Inceptid (raises hand shamefully)

  • @Inceptid WOW I DID LOL. Im watching it right now haha, u just tripped me out a bit

  • So what?

  • The miracle of buoyancy!

  • By floating I thought it meant like levitating. -___-

  • sorry but my mom can do that with her head well above water

  • bro i wanna see some kung fu hustle

  • Just hold your breath and sit down it the water. There, you'll float just like in this video...

  • what in the fuck is so special about this. Any fat person can float because fat floats. These people need to put down the candles and read a science book

  • @darealprince99 CAN YOU NOT COMMENT WITHOUT USING THE THE F**ck WORD. SHAME.

  • @sadhammananda out of all the comments on youtube that say fuck you choose to respond to me. FUCK YOU. I dont give a shit about words like that bitch. Go suck a dick

  • @darealprince99 SHAME ON YOU YOU- MUST BE A VERY UNHAPPY PERSON - SHAME. TRY AND MEDITATE AND CALM YOUR CONFUSED AGGRAVATED LITTLE MIND. SHAME.

  • The YMCA taught me how to do this when I was age 5.

ALL people can float in water DAH?

This require ZERO effort OR training, it's the Easiest thing you can do in water, FAR easier than learning to swim so WHY is this even posted here as if it's some Amazing feat?

A Perfect example of how one culture remains isolated & the Ignorance this creates amongst them.

  • What the hell my mum can do better

  • interesting video, poso to know which the title of the song is foundation?

which is the title of the music?

  • i do that it is hard for some people but not shocking and doesnt require years of practicing and meditation.

  • stupid thais, this is floating not levitating,i can do this easy

  • I was waiting for her to float out of the water.

  • Its better bring that foooooooooooooool to the jordan dead sea to watch many peoples Floating on the see.......hahahahhaahha

  • this is shit she is not walking on water

  • ok.. so what we did that in swimming class when i was 12 years old..

  • Fat chicks float better than skinny ones. It's proven by science.

  • This is not a miracle, but I like the music in the background so like.

  • В детстве я регулярно проделывал тоже самое в нашей реке. Может быть я воплощение Будды? :)

  • My dad could do this AND he was so good at it he would sometimes fall asleep while floating.

    I sink :(

  • oi, i really hope they're not telling the world that this counts as some mystical skill. from a biomechanical standpoint, she is old, thus having lower bone density level, and a high fat content (i'm not calling her fat though, older people just have a higher fat to muscle ratio). fat floats. usually older fatter people float. you find the right buoyancy with body capacity and anyone could do this.

  • Isn't a "monk woman" more correctly called a nun?

  • Salty water?

  • Any idea what's she's wearing under her robe?...

  • i can do this and im not a monk

that means im the choosen one!!!

  • Woo I can levitate in water too!

  • Ok, I'm officially a monk now... Cool...

  • I learned how to do this in the Marine Corps (water survival- in case of a crash - wearing full uniform) . Nothing "spiritual" about this... More like religious BS.

  • i sleep in water... for hours...

  • so what i do that too... am i supernatural...?

  • wrf ?? ;S

  • Without much body movement it is hard to float in water....The another thing u can do is hold the respiration to float your body...but it still hard..

  • Even if she can levitate, it is forbidden for Buddhist monks/nuns to show that to other people. There are rules for monks and nuns.

  • theres alot of salt in that water thats why hes levitation

  • anyone can do that

  • wow i never knew i was a monk too!!!

  • fuck this is stupid...i can do thats thing

  • She's ugly

  • maybe the water has a very high salt content - like the Dead Sea?

  • be respectful guys

  • Her Clothes create a natural bouyance that kept her afloat!

  • 3:50 SATAAAAAAN

  • 50% of that water is made of salt.

  • Um, you can't call a woman a monk... buddhist nun is the correct term.

  • You have got to be kidding me. She's fat too. LOL people would fall for anything.

  • No need to be a Buddhist Monk to do this.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahah wtf that is the most retarded shit i have ever seen. i have been doing that for yrs since i was a kid those people would think im some kind of god. hahahahahah

  • I thought she was going to levitate...piece of shit video.

  • THIS IS STUPID!

  • here;s the trick: inhale....then hold it in as long as you can as composed and cool as u can lol

  • ALL THAT AIR IN HER HEAD AND BELLYT MAKING HER FLOAT!!!!!!!LOL

  • add a lot of salt to the water and voila!

  • .................... i dont get it??

  • This is a Buddhist Nun not a Buddhist Monk Woman. Women can't be ordained as monks in Theravada Buddhism.

  • as long as the person does not have access to a readily easy bottom, I can see how this practice might take the fear out of haveing to be recued right away if found in this predicament, not only alive, but in peace. Good Point.

  • That's about right if you're floating vertically. To float horizontally just swing your hands overhead to balance the weight of your legs. It looks difficult only if you cannot relax your chest and especially if you're afraid of water. For good swimmers, floating with an expanded chest of air in a relaxed manner is not so difficult. Sinking is dead easy, just exhale and down you go. More difficult is to walk around the bottom of the pool after you hit the bottom. Cheers!l

  • If you inhale a lung full of air, you will gain 6 kg (13.2 lb) of buoyancy. I guess half a head weighs 6 kg.

  • This requires a good level of relaxation. I practise this form of relaxation in water too and it is very effective for de-stressing after a hard day in the office at Silom, Bangkok. Water can literally wash away our troubles. :)

Check out my U-tube channel on hard (yang) and soft (yin) styles of swimming in the lotus posture, including floating asanas with shifting centres and sinking techniques. Search under: tohkimlin .... Good luck and happy swimming !

  • So this old lady can swim...

  • thats not levitating thats just floating anybody can do that

  • What is the salt teor of water ?

  • FAKE AND GAY

  • probably the water is full of salt!!!

  • HIGHLY SALTY WATER MAKES THIS A SIMPLE THING

  • bugging me the fuck out

  • nothing new, i can float like this too... my real problem is that i can't stay under the water ;)

  • This is how Thai people are puting themself down, they spoil their name with con job.

  • Now, if she is still floating after they drain the pool...?

  • what the hell i can float too this doesn't surprise me.

  • i must say this is taking it too far! I must also agree with TheImmortenWeapon on that Buddha would never have giving..thumbs up;D to this kind of behavior. The whole exploitation of good, what good is, and what good stands for. This is exploitation. Religion in youtube format.

  • @MortenBoHansen because i BET you some kind of home going mother or woman, is putting her bathing suit on right now. Floating in her pool, thinking she is all peace and Buddha himself. Sick.

  • Siem stole Khmer culture, now Siem wants the world to know they invented farts?

  • there was probably a lot of salt in the water that kept her buoyant

  • @julesxoxoxoxoxox you got that right

  • thumbs up if u looked for fart bubbles

  • If she had that much power she could've walked across the water. Her dress holds air and I can do everything she just did. I know there are people out there who can do these works, Babaji, Masters, Avatars, but this is not it, maybe she's trying, but...???

  • oh c'mmon i have seen people doing this in beaches n swimming pool....

  • not only buddists ...anybody can float like this on water...its NOT supernatural....its a traditional practise....i have seen some people in india do this...they are not buddists....

  • IT'S VERY SIMPLE FAT PEOPLE CAN FLOAT BETTER THASN A THIN PERSON , AND ADDED THIS FACT (YOU FILL YOUR LUNGS UP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WITH AIR) BREATHING VERY SHALLOW BREATHS AND THAT WILL KEEP YOU AFLOAT, I KNOW CAUSE I'VE DONE IT ALL MY LIFE, LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ...

  • WHY DIDN'T SHE NAKE ON WATER?

  • All this sister did is synchronised swimming not walking on water. Walking on water is not Buddhist practice or aim. Sorry I do not know what this video is trying to proof.

  • ugly sick monk!

  • This video just made me cold.

  • wtf. that is not impressive at all - I do that in my local swimming pool. How can people be so stupid?

  • @apn1963 : why don't you just say that you WALK on the water in your local swimming pool ??

  • @apn1963 It's not about stupid, really. I can do this because I am light and have practically lived in water since childhood. I started floating people at Harbin many years before Watsu came about. I did waler yoga before anyone there, and Harold took a lesson. I just think of it as communion.

  • @apn1963 Maybe, but can you film it and put it on you tube for the rest of us to watch?

  • @N2tao Sure, just add enough salt to the water and you can even make an elephant float.

  • @CoenNaninck don't need salt to float. ya just relax and your body will stay on the surface.

  • Everyone can do that especially dumbass faggots.

  • This has nothing to do with what the Buddha taught. Anyone who can swim can do this. Buddha taught us how to end our suffering and reach the peace of our mind. Floating or even walking on water can not end any suffering nor is it able to reach the peace of mind. This kind of circus act belong in the circus, not the temples.

  • so when does she levitate?

  • Its the air in the lungs that keeps her afloat. I could float on my back when I learned my backstroke in swimming

  • water full of salt....like red sea

  • lots of women can do this with the right body fat percentage. generally harder for men unless they have breasts and hips which are mostly fat

  • Monk woman = Nun, Buddhist Nun

  • even my dad can do that.. lol..

  • budist munk woman?

  • LOL, controlled farts, the help of evil LOL to all of you.

  • wheres the special thing about it ??? even i can do that ... it's a simple floating ....

  • learn about a man who walks on water here.... watch?v=z4HwXwqgf1s

  • All this helping by devil

  • @siamean1 And how would you know what the Buddha taught ... 2500 years ago? Were you there? Just cuz you don't like religion/faith you claim it actually never was a religion... And that faith is an abberation of some original purity, as wholly imagined by you. That's some bs.

@snakedog9 The word you're looking for is 'nun', not 'monk woman', lol.

  • this is stupid... I can do this in a pool

  • i do this all the time in my pool lol whats so special about this?

  • floating in water is not that strange almost anyone can do that easier if salt levels are high. shes not doing anything special.

  • i have seen old people doing yogic postures in ponds there we dont find any NACL mixture crap nothing which makes body to float on water.

  • i am indian from andhra pradesh state.i saw these kind of old people near to my home village, who have the power to float on water for more than 4 hours.this is possible thru strong will in doing ASANAMS. you also can do these kind of postures on water. learn these coming to india and you too can float on water.nothing is difficult when you practice it.

  • fat floats!

  • duh law of physics water with NACL... more nacl in water like the dead sea..

  • @3:51 what is she doing with her hands...some of the entertainment people do this but many are satanic worhsipers....I mean no disrespect iti just I noticed that the hands signs are the same...it is more of the intent I knwo but what does she mean by holding her hands like that...? I is it a common finger pose?

  • Esther Williams she ain't...

  • i feel very relaxed when i float that way in the swimming pool letting go of all the tension in my muscle. Dr.Bensons relaxation techniques is a must to learn, after all he got from the Buddhists.

  • She looks like Darth Vader without his helmet

  • @siamean u hav a gud reasoning..keep it up..dont belive in things blindly..even buddha told this !!..but there are things that are beyond our belief and understanding

  • If people can make belief that there is God out there making sure you will go to heaven only IF you believe in HIM not Her, then why are you judging this? It means you are a sucker. If you know only about one religion then go learn about others before judging and commenting ignorant comments. Go learn Vipassana Meditation if you are in search of the truth and reality. Dont waste your time if you are not looking for these 2 things. Go on with your make belief God and convince urself u r happy.

  • @gettingwiser11 I tell westerners that Buddha's teachings is just like Christianity, minus the father, the son, the holy ghost and all the fairy tales and that Buddhism came first.

Those who do not understand this will show fear and hatred, does who do understand will be freed.

  • @siamean1 I have no fear or hatred, friend, and I am Christian. I certainly will NOT call your beliefs fairy tales, either. Frankly, since my baptism in Jan, I've never felt more free. All will be revealed in time, and I pray for peace in even hearts that do not believe in Jesus Christ. I'm not looking for a fight here, just saying...

  • @ShadowofLocke I would like to ask a christian like you who keeps pointing fingers at people who dont believe in jesus- Do every single one regardless of how good they are in heart but don't follow the teachings of jesus or simply have not even heard of him, will go straight to HELL?? Are all those people in India or other parts of the world really DOOMED?? Please enlighten us, sir!!

  • @qcon81 the bible teaches that to those who the gospel does'nt go to they willbe judged by the weight of their hart

  • @albusai Okay. So then one should not shove his religious beliefs down other's throat. Let them be free to choose what they want as long as they keep a good heart. Christianity is dictatorship at least by how the churches have gone about with it.

  • @qcon81 all religions that originated from the middle east are dictatorships, it was the best way at the time to keep the people in check. eastern religions are nothing like that, they believe to advance themselfs, it doesn't matter to them weather you believe it as well or not at all.

  • @JoeyPsych so apparenly you didnt read my previous comment to the christian guy. I was calling christianity a dictatorship not the other religions like buddhism or hinduism which are very open and accepting of other religions...

  • Basic Physics. The water is higly mineralized making it very dense like the dead sea. The human body is 95% water. 5% mineralized water will float a human like a cork. Try this in distiled water, and you will sink like a rock. This is no miracle.

Religion had its chance to dilude the masses, now its science's turn to enlighten the people.

  • @siamean1 This is not a miracle, nor is it as simple of a magic trick as you claim, or else everyone would be doing it. Nobody would need to learn to swim. Buddhist teaching say that the universe is all a dream that god is having, and once you understand that, you can manipulate the dream in certain ways. So this is why people say that monks can levitate, etc.. Believe it or not, I don't appreciate you dismissing things so quickly.

  • @TheImmortalWeapon Cut the crap. Buddhist Teachings and Buddha's Teachings are 2 differen things. Buddha teaches us to not believe what people say, without all possible examination... Buddha was a very analytical and rational man in his time. If he was alive today he would disaprove of all the statues of him claded in gold, all the temple trickery, and godly worship.

Buddha's teachings in his time was like a science, yet his followers do not fuly understand him and turned it into a faith.

  • @siamean1 I understand all of that. I don't know why you assumed I didn't. I never said it was a good idea to do such things, as the Buddha says it pushes people deeper into the illusion, when the goal is to break free of the illusion. However, it does say it can be done. That's all I was saying. I know all about the statues, and worshiping him as a god, and how much he'd disprove (as he says, he's just a man). I am Buddhist, I know a thing or two about my own beliefs.

  • @siamean1 not all his followers worship him, there are those that take his teachings to become "buddha" themselfs. Besides, Buddha said: It doesn't matter if you worship or just follow me, as long as you understand what I said. Or something close to it(I don't remember the actual quote).

  • @siamean1 everyone with the slightest interest in truth, who looks at Buddha's teachings, his wisdom, can see it is not equal to the buddhists' teachings. The difference is one being truth and the other being a system build around that truth. One needs cut through it to get to the truth and not cling to the system.

  • @siamean1 : Ehipasiko...Sadhu...Sadhu..Sadhu...

  • @siamean1 That is true, I agree. I seek the statues as a reminder to his teachings, and not himself. But people have easily forgotten about this and the idolization, who mistakenly think that it is about worshiping Buddha when it originally wasn't.

  • @siamean1 HEAR HEAR! whats important is Buddha Dharma! Metta

  • WHY ARE MONKS DOING ALL KINDS OF RETARDED FAKE SHIT ON YOUTUBE? I DON´T EVEN.

  • that water must be reallllllly salty.

  • @harapalb1002 Look at the description..

  • i rather see someone float in air then in water

  • The real secret is controlled farts that keeps her floating. If you look very close you can the bubbles coming to the top of water. This is an old practice.

  • @opinionatorX loooool. You better be joking.

  • Why do they have a pool at the monastery?

  • OUUOUOUjjajajajajjaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL awesome!

  • my friend Joe did that yesterday in the hamptons. And he's an ex-bodybuilder

  • HOLY SHIT HOW IS SHE DOING THAT?!?!?!? SHE'S FLOATING.....on water.

  • WTF...am i suppose to b impressed by this...bullshit

  • to coincidence she floats right at the level a human is neutrally buoyant. the hard part is controlling the natural panic. which anyone can do with practice.
