Great video Milapse once again. I see you worked out how to not get flickering when it gets darker. I am yet to work that out.. I had my d200 on a tripod a few weeks back that fell off my meade tripod mount and down a cliff into a creek :-( Was going to do some panning time laps in Indonesia.
looks like he manually adjusted the exposure settings to let in more light during the night, so you could still see sky/clouds even at night. There was probably a lot of moonlight, too. Leave your shutter open long enough, and a night shot can look like daytime
Was a very calm predictable night... I just risk it sometimes when I'm feeling confident. I did get a little sap from the tree above on the lens (arrg) some patient gentle cleaning with a microfiber and eclipse did the trick though.
Very beautiful work! Still looking for a 2 axis panning tripod, the guys from the website you refereed on a video you made never answered my message! I thought about using a telescope one but it doesn't work so well!

Wow, I love ur videos. I don't get it tho. It was night time for like only a second. The night didn't seem that long. Can anyone help me?

Really cool. I wish I knew more about how you do all this, Jay. I should probably watch your tutorial videos.

Nice!
I guess you are using a protective cover for your DSLR when you leave it out at night?
You never know what the weather is going to do, and inquisitive animals may try and eat the equipment!
