Jail Reform & The Orange County Sheriff's Department

Obviously neither of you have been inside as an inmate or heard any stories from inmates so anything I tell you will not register into insufficiently powered brains. I'll just spell things out for you in big words, cause it's probably easier for you to understand. ABUSE, RIOTS, INJUSTICE, NON STOP VIOLENCE, HARASSMENT. These are the things inmates have to deal with and it's not right, especially since the deputies are behind a lot of it.

@lexer92 so you're telling me that its "not supposed to be a vacation" but what about people that are wrongly accused? and just because jail is supposed to be tough doesn't mean deputies should violate your civil rights as a human being. they don't have to be nice to inmates, but they certainly don't have to instigate riots and beat an inmate down with 4 of his colleagues while the inmate is handcuffed, then make another inmate clean up the mess (this happens quite often).

Let a man of color run the jail, because everyone that has ever been an inmate knows that Orange County deputies are overall racist. You want to eliminate chow for 2 bag lunch meals? Are you kidding me?  Do you know how low inmate morale would be if you had to eat 2 bologna sandwiches in a day for a meal.

@smokolotapotamus Your the reason why we need Jail reform. Maybe if it isn't that comfortable in there you might just take a shower, get a job, and become a responsible citizen (Not Likely)
