car wreck , injured his hand badly . some say he never got back to his ability before however he did rejoin the band and tour later if I remember correctly . I do know this , Vai recorded all of the guitar parts before the tour and was the only guitarist on that particular cd . I was blessed and got to meet Adrian well before this point and had him sign my Kramer which I have to this day . Shame the Kramer was a sucky model . Adrian was great at his peak but even then he obviously wasn't Vai .
