  • wered you buy them from what website?

  • They love small earthworms and tubifex too.

  • U do know these things get massive and every thing that moves in that tank is food I have had mine 1 1/2 years... he's almost 2'

  • @Randymyr do you know what species that eel your talking about is???? I'm wanting an eel that does not need a big tank

  • aaaaw :) I'm getting 2 soon. they are SO adorable. It's equally as adorbale as seeing my fat cat try to climb walls. :3 Do you know if they are compatible with cleaner shrimp? I WAS going to get a sucker fish but they get to big for my aquarium size.

  • I just picked up two of these myself from a pet store down here. I've never seen them in stores and always wanted some sort of eel. I'm just happy the one species they had in is one of the few that has no problem living in a 30 gallon.

  • Nice. Mine is about 8 inches now. You rams look really healthy and happy, nice setup : ). Have you tried feeding them peas? Mine loves being hand fed peas or little bits of cooked zuchini/cucumber.

  • omg you have a ram, those are my all time favorite fish, hands down

  • what website did you buy them from?

  • what website did you buy them off of?

  • we hand feed ours frozen blood worms. as well as earth worms they love them soo much. it only took ours about 2 months to warm up to hand feeding. they are quite the active little fish. i love watching them swim around.

  • they are there great, my faviorite oddball. Hardy and odd :P

  • @kolo909 how big do they get?

  • wat do u feed it ive never seen mine eat once. ive had it for like 5 months already

  • yeh i was putting heaps of effort to feed em live blood worms and shit but then i didnt for bout 4 weeks and theye where still getting fatter, they eat decaying food in the ground mate.

  • if so, would it compete with my emerald green cory catfish then? i just love his mustache and i dont have the heart to get rid of em

  • @AhhizGodzilla yes nothing that would attack the eel or be afraid of it in a feeding frenzy, yes corys are fine

  • well for me i feed mine frozen blood worms an jus to let u no the 1st day i got mine they were already eatin out of my hands but also it depends wut kind of eels u got for me i got the fire eels my peacock eels ive had for almost a year now an he still dosent eat out of my hand but hes still alvie
