How much of the "full frame" sensor gets used for video on a 5d? Certainly a LOT less than stills right? Will the 5D3 do better with moire and other Canon issues?
Dave, you say that you are saving up for the Tokina 11-16mm, this lens seems to be a favorite for DSLR users, is there something that you are looking for this lens to do? Wide shots? Does it have greater depth of field making it easier to hold focus on the go? I guess I'm asking, what makes this the lens that you must buy? Really enjoy your videos, by the way!
@drumat5280 Yes it will be great for that. It is supposed to be an awesome lens.
What intervalometer do you use for timelapses? I tried to do a manual timelapse but got so bored after about 70 shots as I didn't have an intervalometer.
just wondering, how do you do these interviews? Like, whats the setup you have & how are you seeing it on your side of the camera? What im trying to say is, are you in a video call on your phones/laptops/computers and you're recording yourself with your camera's, or are you in a simple phonecall and again using your camera's to record you. Thanks (:
@uglyrhinodotcom go to my site and search for 'studio tour' and you can watch a video I have on it.

@Matthew13tube I think it is mostly because of the price for this constant aperture lens.

Awesome Interview, Dave you're such a nice guy!
What kind of shots are you thinking of getting with the Tokina 11-16?
And that 5D3 will be amazing!
As for now, I have loads to learn with my 60D and I'm more than happy with it.

@VxEG Very low tech, we are both using a speaker phone and we can't see each other.

@VxEG By the way, -good vodoo- means a videographer knows a lot of tricks of the trade such as lighting camera lenses etc.
