I would've loved having RE5 on the Wii, because RE4 was brilliant with those controls, but alas... Doesn't matter now anyways (for me) since I'm working on getting my Wiimote to connect to my PC so I can play RE5 PC with Wii controls. It's gonna be awesome!

The only reason why I want it to be released for the Wii is because my mom has one. And I dont have a PS3 or Xbox 360. Although I have a PC(Vista), I dont wanna have to spend $100 on the game and a new graphics card. And they released Resident Evil 4 for the Wii, so it only makes sense to release Resident Evil 5 for the Wii.

well, nintendo has disapoint me because I hate the WIImote, and the only game that would convenced me to buy it was just SSBB, I had GC with RE, RE0, RE:CV & RE4 and was awsome but RE umbrella cronicals and 4 wii ed are really bad games, if there will be a 5 wii ed, congrats for the wii owners, but:
I just use the Nintendo classic controller that plugs into the Nunchuck for games where the Wiimote is not suited, (better for mario kart than the wheel).
They could put it on the wii, but I think it'll take some time. I'm saying this for the graphics. I've heard the wii has a limit smaller than the PS3, so if they think of putting the game on wii they'll need to fix some things. I just hope they don't miss anything like in RE4, I want 100% of the game.
I agree with you, seriously. If Capcom puts the game on WII, they'll sell like 1,000,000 more copies than in the PS3, that's because almost no one has the PS3, and almost everyone has the wii (for obvious reasons).

I really hopes this comes to the wii. RE4 is one of my favorite games on the wii and it had good graphics on top of it (not that i care about them i am just pointing it out) so even if they have to down grade the graphics on re5 for it to come on wii, then by all means do that.
and gameplay might be the most important factor in some peoples opinions for games but i think graphics and gameplay(and lifespan) are both very important elements of a game

I think it would be smart to do this. REUC and RE4 sold very well on wii so RE5 will sell good to. If they would make this game on a slower engine, or even the RE4 engine and turn up the loading times, this game could look almost as good on wii.
I'm guessing they're keeping quiet about a RE5 wii release because they want the ps3 and 360 sales to be high, then they'll move on to the wii and pretty soon, they'll be laughing all the way to the bank.

RE5 will come to the Wii. There's no reason why it wouldn't. RE4 Wii Edition and RE Umbrella Chronicles have both sold 1 million copies each. It's just a matter of waiting for Capcom to announce it...and knowing that I'm not worried. It may be a while after it's released on ps3/360 but they will. Maybe at the end of 2009 they'll announce. So don't worry people....Capcom knows that it will sell well on Wii..they're just waiting for the right time since they have other priorities with other games.

i dont think it would take that long for them to make RE5 for the Wii. since RE4 was put on Wii easly. but the biggest problem now is downgrading the graphics, which is proving to be a problem for developers since most the games so far that got downgraded for the Wii look like shit. Conduit n COD5 were made specifically for Wii, which is why they look awesome. so capcom should of started making a Wii version of RE5 from the beggining, seperate from ps3 so it wouldnt suffer a downgrade.

There is a report that RE5 is going to pc, don't know if its true, but I don't care if it comes to pc or wii. Love them both. Good job on the video, your right in some areas.

I just use the Nintendo classic controller that plugs into the Nunchuck for games where the Wiimote is not suited, (better for mario kart than the wheel).

They could put it on the wii, but I think it'll take some time. I'm saying this for the graphics. I've heard the wii has a limit smaller than the PS3, so if they think of putting the game on wii they'll need to fix some things. I just hope they don't miss anything like in RE4, I want 100% of the game.

I agree with you, seriously. If Capcom puts the game on WII, they'll sell like 1,000,000 more copies than in the PS3, that's because almost no one has the PS3, and almost everyone has the wii (for obvious reasons).

I really hopes this comes to the wii. RE4 is one of my favorite games on the wii and it had good graphics on top of it (not that i care about them i am just pointing it out) so even if they have to down grade the graphics on re5 for it to come on wii, then by all means do that.

I think it would be smart to do this. REUC and RE4 sold very well on wii so RE5 will sell good to. If they would make this game on a slower engine, or even the RE4 engine and turn up the loading times, this game could look almost as good on wii.

And besides hasn't anyone noticed that RE5 is practically identical to RE4? Just improved graphics, that's all. The enemies do the same thing, they die in the same manner, Chris moves just like Leon....it's practically the same. So RE5 on Wii wouldn't be a problem.

RE5 will come to the Wii. There's no reason why it wouldn't. RE4 Wii Edition and RE Umbrella Chronicles have both sold 1 million copies each. It's just a matter of waiting for Capcom to announce it...and knowing that I'm not worried. It may be a while after it's released on ps3/360 but they will. Maybe at the end of 2009 they'll announce. So don't worry people....Capcom knows that it will sell well on Wii..they're just waiting for the right time since they have other priorities with other games.

One of the developers said that the Wii cant handle TITLE.
Another developer said that Resident Evil 5 might come for the Wii after a couple of years, since they are pushing the PS3/360 versions to their limits. This developer also said it would be hard to port Dead Rising on the Wii, so it will be harder to port Resident Evil 5 to Wii

my biggest beef with capcom is that they are doing a port of Dead Rising to the wii. if they bother with that game then they shouldn't have too much of a problem downgrading RE5 to the wii right?

yup ive beening agruing that same shit ever since i heard Dead Rising is coming for Wii. n to be honest it looks like shit. 360s Dead Rising was good because it had alot of blood, alot of enemies, n good graphics. the Wii got rid of all of that n just went with the Wii controls. that game is going to be the worst of the year.

i wouldnt be quick to judge dead rising wii as the worst of the year just yet i dont care about the graphical downgrade but the number of zombies on screen does concern me i hope theyre getting a good amount on but resident evil is a different story RE4 Wii's controls were the best of all the versions and if they can downgrade deadrisings graphics for the wii they can do it with RE5 and its not like RE5 is looking for hundreds of onscreen enemies and this is capcom so they know what theyre doing

RE5 is the most anticipated game of 2009 n yet capcom goes with Dead Rising??????? doesnt sound like they know what they are doing. i dont think it would take that long for them to make RE5 for the Wii. since RE4 was put on Wii easly. but the biggest problem now is downgrading the graphics, which is proving to be a problem for developers since most the games so far that got downgraded for the Wii look like shit. Conduit n COD5 were made specifically for Wii, which is why they look awesome. so capcom should of started making a Wii version of RE5 from the beggining, seperate from ps3 so it wouldnt suffer a downgrade.

but look at it this way most games before COD5 and conduit were just cheap PS2 ports like i said mabey capcom is working on a wii RE5 and mabey they wanna make it the best damn wii downgrade ever and even if they did downgrade the graphics its not like the game would look worse than RE4 which i still think looks awsome and i wish developers would have bought that engine off of capcom for their wii games but now i think developers will look at the conduits quantum3 engine in the future
