Ron Paul believes in restoring our government and nation to abide by the Constitution. He believes in States' Rights and Separation between Church and State. He does not impose his own faith on others. He bases his decisions, votes and actions on whether or not it is Constitutional. Romney isn't the only Republican candidate that is "transparent" in his faith. However, a voter shouldn't take someone's faith into consideration by voting. But rather, his/her policies and past voting records.

I agree that everyone should be equal and that a leader needs to make the right choices. But the problem is that people all think differently. What is right to one is not to another. One of the reasons people think that way is their religion. They are taught that some things are right and others wrong. A leader of any religion will make that choices that he has been taught to be 'right'.
You need to think about what you're going to say a little more. Using that phrase when discussing Romney's condescending remarks puts you in the same boat with him.

No, he said that leaders of his church, or of any church, would influence his decisions. That's far from saying that his religious beliefs will not dictate his policy. I'm not suggesting that he'll be a puppet of his religious leaders, I'm wondering if his specific beliefs would keep him fro acting in the best interest of the nation.

Rudy didn't harbor illegals. there were 3 rules - children go to school and allowed medical help (required by the constitution). Ron Paul believes in restoring our government and nation to abide by the Constitution. He believes in States' Rights and Separation between Church and State. He does not impose his own faith on others. He bases his decisions, votes and actions on whether or not it is Constitutional. Romney isn't the only Republican candidate that is "transparent" in his faith. However, a voter shouldn't take someone's faith into consideration by voting. But rather, his/her policies and past voting records.

I agree that everyone should be equal and that a leader needs to make the right choices. But the problem is that people all think differently. What is right to one is not to another. One of the reasons people think that way is their religion. They are taught that some things are right and others wrong. A leader of any religion will make that choices that he has been taught to be 'right'.

One's faith always guides one's decisions. The Constitution is supposed to prevent the government from establishing a national religion that all must follow, or from preventing a person from following their own religion.
"Separation of Church and State" does not appear in our Constitution. It was taken from a letter by Thomas Jefferson, written years later, in which he lampooned the very idea.
Though I don't like Romney, I agree with every point in your video.

Yeah, Mitt was really wrong about the seriousness of the debate -- the guitar guy singing the goofy song let us know immediately that this was to be a profound dialogue about the future of America.
I dunno why this airhead is talking so much about Mitt -- she's gonna vote for the Democrat, if she can remember to get to the polls before closing time.

No. John acted like his religion was something he couldn't help. He knew that the reporters knew that he wasn't particularly faithful to his faith. In fact the Catholic World News has several people saying

...that this is the speech that JFK should have given. Rather than acting like religion was just something that couldn't be helped Romney actually laid out that he was willing to loose rather than back an inch away from his faith JFK put his status as a presidential candidate before what are suppose to have been his guiding principles.
