Oh quit tearing it down on the technical side of things, he got up and played a classical piano piece to a crowd expecting pop music, obviously he was going to speed it up and be a bit nervous. Maybe he was trying to showcase Satie to a large audience, or whatever. Good for him.

judging on his posture and expression when he plays he is definitely a pianist turned awesome musician.

He makes it sound quite crappy, wrong pauses and everything... The ending is the most horrible thing, because that's were it normally becomes the most intriguing. But I don't expect Coldplay fans to understand this. (I must admit they made some nice pop-songs in the past...)
