usb3.0 does have a theoritical speed of 10x faster but thats only if the planets align and god is on your side.

other wise you will still see great speeds but not its full potential.

I upgraded to USB 3.0 a few days ago and the transfer rates are not consistently high but I am glad they are usually way above USB 2.0. I made a video of the actual times that it took me to transfer a 14.1GB file using both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. The results are not as impressive as this video shows but pretty good overall. I did the same test today (one day after) and now it transferred at 3 minutes and 26 seconds on USB 3.0
