It would be good to see ND make another Crash game, but they aren't in charge of Crash. They were just developers. Vivendi Universal Studios made the story and characters.
Actually, no. They just own rights to the game. Publishers higher people to make games of their franchises. Sega didn't make Sonic, it was the Sonic Team. Take that for example.
