New age consciousness when animals have it besides human. Dolphins and Bonobos are the only animals on Earth besides humans to have sex for the pure pleasure of it. @profsat5 Chill out dude. What I wrote is an implication on what you wrote. Being 'smarter' for an animal actually implies that it 'understands' the procedure of having sex. Therefore, more evolved animals have more improved self-awareness, therefore they recognise that they derive pleasure from a particular action (having sex).

@Neueregel I see what you are saying.What i said about Dolphins and Bonobos is the act of sex,these are the only animals besides humans that do it for pleasure.We all know Dolphins are smart and Bonobos are below Chimps and Apes intellectual wise.Still smart or not Humans,Bonobos and Dolphins are the only animals sexually active for pleasure.Dolphins & Bonobos have been seen to pick a female out and the males have sex multiple times each taking turns.My students say this is gang rape,maybe so.

@profsat5 And how do you know that they copulate just for "Pleasure" and not for Breeding?? Beyond their libido lies a deep procreative instict. It happens to all animals. Maybe the bonobos are more aware of this instinct, but I would bet my money on Chimps being MORE sexually aware than bonobos and actually "understand" that they derive sexual pleasure, in a higher being more aware and being in a more conscious level.

@Neueregel As you know animals that copulate only do it when a female is "in season"to put it another way "they give off odor or some type of discharge to signal males they are ready to breed and then they only want to breed with the most dominate male",since this is not the same for Dolphins,Humans (we will copulate during a females menstrual cycle)Bonobos have menstrual cycles but female bonobo is sexually active all the time.Nice chat I enjoyed it but got to go.Maybe later we can continue.

@profsat5 I agree with this specific cycle of copulation. But my point was that beyond Bonobos, there are Primates higher in evolutionary ladder (by cranial capacity) and therefore more self-aware (like Gorillas, Chimps and Orang outangs ) that are also intrinsically more self-aware than the little Bonobos. Dolphins, imo, can't be put in a comparisonbecause they display a different kind of Intelligence. A Maritime one.

@FallofDarkness55 - It all depends on what you are describing as conciousness. You have to remember that dogs have no idea what you are saying, its the tone in your voice that they respond to. Dogs are pack animals and you are the alpha in his pack. He is showing submission to you when he does that. We have no way of determining conciousness because we don't have a clear definition of what conciousness is so we can't attribute it to animals or anything else if we don't understand it.

I enjoyed and appreciated the way Harold Hanson Channer directed the conversation with Dr. Kaku. This was done in 1997. Recently, Kaku stated that people who are against the NWO are "terrorists"; therefore, it shows who and what he supports.

Interesting how people's need to be right about religion also manifests in the need to be right about "the End," with so many declarations of truth/falsehood.
