I just love parkour because it makes me look like a beast and confuses the heck out of people when I run from them. I especially love taking shortcuts that would take the actual route minutes to take when in a full sprint, for example, when they're at the parking garage.

@Rekka7773 The roll is to distribute the pressure evenly. Some heights don't seem dangerous but it's a good force of habit to have and rolling will save your knees a lot of suffering down the road. The roll is very important, it not only doesn't hurt it stops you from getting hurt at all. Okay I won't lie it can hurt a lot if you do it wrong though. I'd suggest finding a good instructor if you're genuinely interested. also, many youtubers have great tutorials. have fun.

The idea is to find something that you bend and stretch your legs in, whether it be shorts or sweatpants or baggy jeans, but the idea is also to find something lightweight. Jeans may not be a good option because they're so heavy and can make you feel weighed down/constricted. Parkour is about flow and comfortability. I'd recommend thin sweatpants for colder weather and a little baggy thin shorts. Does that answer your question?
