• Awesome musical play you used there!

  • Personaly I find this type of booster too unreliable because I often get sent in the wrong direction by it.

The booster I always use is building a parallel track with a cart on it that will run alongside yours for a short distance before it goes up a slope where it is then sent back the way it came and comes back to the original position where it can be used again.

Then I just use a lever system to send me to the right way (I have to arrange 6 levers to decide the destination lol)

  • great music... very calming

  • Possibly the easiest booster possible

  • this boost sucks in Multiplayer

  • You said you are making a track.. why don't you just make a large one with alot of them constantly running on it with 20sec between them?

  • thanks bro

  • im planning on making a long loop track for a multiplayer server, how will i make the boosters more reliable?

  • guys dont do this. it will crash the game after a while

  • Omfg this sounds similar to the music from the intro to Band of Brothers.

  • you have excellent taste in music

  • 9000th view

  • This doesn't work, my boosters stop working when I walk away from them. They will work for a short while, then they seem to desync.

  • @KGhaleon Currently, minecarts are only processed while they are in the player's range of view (not necessarily line of sight). I suggest looking at "Bob's Minecart Tutorial" for a more practical booster design

  • @KGhaleon yeah there realy bad. theres a much better type of boosters. look at my vids

  • The music is 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky the beginning, not the finale which many people know better. I have no idea who preformed it though.

  • lol bitches and whores

  • hey so i did this but it goes really slow any tips ? to make it go faster ?

i thought red star dust or the cart that u put coal in to make u go

  • where's the tactical insertion

  • @bamer2324 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I see wut u did thar.

  • I hope Notch dosen't fix this. Actually, knowing how he thinks, he probably already has it fixed but is waiting until he can replace it with a "legit" booster mechanic.

  • what is the music if you dont mind saying

  • What a beautiful mine.

  • Awesome! thank you!

  • This worked wonderfully, thank you for making this video!

  • A launching booster is much more effecient than spinning boosters because they are more reliable and can be used beside any minetrack as a constantly speedy chainlift-like mechanic they also use 1 cart to boost and any number of track pieces needed to launch the cart beside it on the main track

  • This is gonna be an amazing subway/bus system once multiplayer gets fully implemented

  • What happens if you sit in the boosters?

  • @JJnnaatt you
sit and spin
. But no, really, they just keep going with you in it.

  • @Laterson Lol /v/

  • I cannot understrand what do you use to make that cart run in circle.. mine goes and stops in few seconds.

  • @JJnnaatt the world will fall into chaos and a black hole with open. and your all might mine craft creator will apart and banish u.

but thats just assuming u sit in the boosters.

  • SCIENCE!

  • Hopefully this doesn't get patched over. Fantastic find, Laterson!

  • Now I need to upgrade to two-cart boosters :>

  • well done sir

  • kind of a problem here; while the 2 cart system works jsut as well as a 4 or 5, all of them suffer from the problem of booster rotational chaos

i have an elaborate track switcher set up so that whatever direction the carts are spinning in, i can get back on the main track going in the direction i want.

the problem with an autonomous subway with these boosters is that the boosters can actually change direction WHILE THEY'RE RUNNING. So eventually all the minecarts are going to pile up.

  • @Ryukachoo

how is a single cart on a roundabout track going to pile up?

  • @Laterson from your video it sounded like you were going to send multiple carts down each track in a continuous roundabout circuit, which would be AWESOME, but impractical with this type of booster since, again, it can change direction whenever.

but just one cart should work fine

  • @Ryukachoo oh no, I mean setting up multiple tracks (as it actually is in the video) creating sort of check points between each set of tracks. Next video should changes up the strat. because the circle track isn't really doable thru normal play since unless you are rolling in iron your probably don't get too much of it.

  • @Laterson the only crap thing about this type of booster is that sometimes they minecarts, because of so much monumentum they will actually shoot 'themselves' off the track..

  • What happens if you touch the spinning carts? Do they stop?

  • @tredward321 they will push you back, not sure why I was avoiding them actually. If you get in one while they are spinning prepare for a headache.

  • liked favd and ssubbed. your doing gods work, laterson
