Metal Gear Solid 4 is not the last game, they have maked a new game that will be released soon, its called Metal Gear Solid 5: Rising, when you will play as Raiden.
I hate how 80% of the MGS fans are total retards and don't understand how great MGS2 actually is... Play the damn game SLOWLY and try to gasp every aspect of it's story, it will blow your mind miles away!

Vampires are cool when they're tough inhuman monsters. I like Vamp's character though and do think he's pretty brutal and he had some great lines in MGS2. "Fortunately Hell had no vacancies" or something along those lines.

they actually did remake the first MGS (original) don´t you know Twin Snakes for Gamecube? its Metal Gear Solid, with MGS2 graphics, for the Gamecube.
Those cutscenes are old, from 2006/2007 I think, with the engine they decided to not use, which I am glad for. Since the engine they decided to use is waaaay much better.

If the team choose one of his scripts he will work on it, if not they will be on their own, but he also said they have no plans to start devolpment anytime soon.

No. Metal gear will be there forever. Like final fantasy or Onimusha. Most likely is going to be raiden in the lead from now on. Its a possibility. But that is why they made raiden seem so cool in MGS4. I guess he carries the torch until they find an adequate character to take helm.
