Im confused by this car. In the game its called the DB9R but the setup is the DBR9 and on the simbin website its called the DBR9. I know that the DBR9 is a real race car but never heared of the DB9R. Is this a spelling mistake? or do they not know what car it is? lol

Just mistake, also as DB9RS, which is DBRS9.

Im guessing its because SIMBIN is a swedish company so they obviously translate it to english. There are also a few mistakes in the GTR Evolution manual..Nothing big, just a few grammar errors.

i agree with AngryPostman in most parts. I just want to say that at this point there are games available which are even a bit more realistic than GTR Evo. rFactor, netKar or iRacing, to name them. Also, Simbin, the company who developed the GTR series, turned into a money hungry shark by now. Releasing an addon with a few cars and tracks and no physical or graphical updates for 25 bucks is mad.

yeah, but this game doesn't have a "crapy" graphics at all! It just doesn't have any bloom, motion blur or any post process effect. In terms of 3d design and modelation is just like any other. Is just stupid anyway putting any those useless effects on SIMULATION games, you must save more FPS as possible. Different from that others arcadish games with overload of effects and madness color saturation... gameplay and realism are what really matters

Seems you have a CLUTCH control problem. If you have a cluch pedal try to calibrate it before playing. And look on the game control menu for Auto Clutch control. I think is something like that. Good luck

This game HAS got crappy graphics. In fact compred to the likes of GT5 (a swear word on this video section but so what) they're mind bogglingly bad.

In fact it's the very first thing that came into my head; "even GT4 on PS2's graphics piss on this!".

I love cars and driving games which is why I'm on here looking through these Sim Bin titles but Jesus Christ, it's VERY hard to like them!

Some of them are so bad there's just a badly animted steering wheel turning itself.

What really is sad is that so many PC sim fans spend so much on their kit yet have put up with this visual dross from the likes of Sim Bin etc. over and over.

Even GT4 on PS2 makes this look really, bad.

all it takes is some better reflective graphics on the car, bolder colours in the environment, and slightly exaggerated iso settings for the general light scheme

then it will have "good" graphics. or at least look way better

Hey i installed the offline version of gtr evolution but i can only seem to select 5 cars. Do you unlock them later of should i have installed the online version too ?

The Nordschleife?Cos it's the most thughest & dangerous track in the world:means hell.The green stand for the many many trees.I heard atleast 15 people lost life every year on this track.Funracers who pay for a ride on this track included.Its dangerous cos the track is full of hills and it's hard schadowed and it can be wet and dry at the same time,cos it's damn long.But's the ultimate test for every driver cos this track can beat you hard.

i've driven this track in real life, i can tell you now it lives up to its name "the green hell" blind corners over crests off camber high speed corners, the karrusel all amazingly difficult, so far i've done 80 or so laps of the track in the past few years, i'll be returning there this year in m new audi TT see what its made of. be warned tho your car insurance is void if u go on track, so if u crash your gonna pay the price.

Everything about GTR2 is awesome, so I expect this should be good as well. I still play GTR2 over GT5, the car wear, damage, sounds, play and physics piss all over anything else around. I'll have to invest in a copy of this for my g25 set up :)

before I got this game, Gran Turismo was the most realistic driving series I had ever played. Hah...I sucked at this game for a long time, and had to completely re-teach myself the basics. What a great game!

Correct, F1 races on the Nordschleife have been stopped cuz pilotes judged it very dangerous. In 1976, Niki Lauda almost died in an accident on the Nürb.

But there are still races on the circuit nowadays, such as the 24-hour Nürb race ;)

I loaded the Simbin setup that comes with the game. Increased the Rev limit to the max and increased the steering lock to 18 degrees.

All stability help is turned off.
