I tried to cheat the system and print out the cards to see if they would recognize. But didn't work. I think there is some sort of magnetic film layer that makes the cards readable. I even ripped them in half to see the inside and was just standard card paper.

@RuggedSource When I said "scan in", I meant using an actual official card on the game machine's scanner, or whatever it uses to identify cards, and then play using a joystick and buttons like you would in a regular fighting game.

I was in Osaka, classes were really tough, people were super nice. For sure the nicest place I have been to. The people will help you until you get what you need or looking for. The best was riding my bike around the city at 2am, not worrying about running into trouble. When there was no one on the streets with all of the store lights lite up.
