LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have watched HEAPS of Accent Tag videos, mostly American versions...and i piss myself laughing. Cos its like: ummmmm i dont say it like that, whaaaaaaat? And fully agree sneakers with jeans is a ...NO NO. Seen a lot of Amercian exchange students @ my school, and we were all thinkn: oh no they dinit!
@IloveCopicmarkers omg really? yess, i'm from chicago and i say "surrup," and people correct me saying it's "see-rup" and i always thought they were right. joke's on them! lol
@suracs Thank you very much! Nope my birthday is on the 6th of November :) It was just going to be an early present, but I have decided it would be dangerous just before exams!
@GuitarsRockandLife Haha, cool, not too far off! :D and yeah, definately a dangerous move to aquire anything that may induce procrastination around exam time!
Haha, this is a cool game. You know, you Kiwi's say words remarkably similar to us Aussies... same pronounciation, just a different voice quality. And I had identical answers for the word meaning test!
@suracs Haha thank you very much! I don't have thattt many shoutouts to do so far! You're very right, our accents are so similar, but the questions didn't really show our differences! Chilly bin vs eskie etc haha
@GuitarsRockandLife Lol, really, you call it chilli bin?! I had no idea! Are you guys chilli fanatics or something? ;) Another one I've learnt is hiking/tramping.
@suracs Haha we do indeed! It's pretty strange... not as strange as eskie though xD It comes from saying chilly as in cold! Oh really which one do you guys say?
@GuitarsRockandLife Lol, eskie's normal! Maybe it comes from the word "Eskimo"? But haha, that's an unusual way of deriving a meaning! I guess it makes sense, given it's spelt 'chilly' and not 'chilli' as I wrote previously, lol.
And we say hiking or trekking. You mean you don't use the word tramping? I thought it was a NZ thing, but maybe it was just my NZ friend, lol.
Don't take this the wrong way, but I can't stop laughing. Seriously, there are tears. Tears, everywhere. Accents just make me incredibly, INCREDIBLY giddy. >.<
ahahahah Ive never laughed so hard while watching one of your vids. It is so true, us NZers have such a terrible way with words. Thanks for sharing this! x

I've gotta say my favourite word to hear Kiwis say is 'Dead'. Mainly, I'll admit, because of the joke about it in Flight Of The Conchords...
