Bless Spike Spencer, he really goes for it with the screaming but theres still the 'goofy falling down a well' quality to it. Original Japanese (and female) voice actor does the real soul-rending Shinji screams.

eh, it really doesn't seem that bad to me, but then again I originally saw it in english. Now it's difficult for me to watch in Japanese, because the voices are so different.

It's actually one of the better anime dubs their is. if you want to see a bad dub watch the old english version of the Mobile suit Gundam.
