@NuggetsOfTruth actually, many years ago, the "h" was silent. In the UK many people still pronounce it that way. The English language has been butchered over the years. It goes to show how our educational system has failed.
sorry that s you wont be able to tell if a patient is sleeping or unconsciouss wich is why let them rest but stay awake and monitor thier alertness levels.
the reason i say dont sleep is you wont be able to tell if a patient is healthy or passed out, wait for the fever to subside and feed them non sugary, non cafinated foods, unless they have been awake 18 hours and need sleep.
It's called Tyelenol!!!! Good Lord People, These HErbal Things Cost More and are not as effective.. If they worked better than they would be on store shelves widespread
drink lots of water, monitor your heartrate and modify your diet. your heartrate will be either incredibly fast at low fever or slow and irregular at high fever levels. dont sleep during a fever, sleep after it has passed, if your monitoring someone with a fever dont let them sleep, watch for signs of slurred speech and fainting. drink and eat food during a fever as well, bland foods like bready foods if your stomach cant handle anything strong, noodles without broth etc.
if your heartrate is fast avoid sugary foods that give energy, herbal remedys are not the best unless its something relaxing and you check your pulse. i believe the rapid heartrate is due to the increase of virus registering as an increase of blood supply causing the heart to pump harder, like pouring water into a balloon makes a balloon harder to squeeze.
if your throwing up, make sure that you eat because even though you eat you will not be getting the caloric intake you need as its being expelled when you vomit. white bread, noodles without broth, unsalted crackers are foods that will help your stomach. you can dilute broth and slowly increase it as well.some herbal remedys may cause high heartrate and not be benificial to a fever patient who already has an abnormal heartrate. doctors really need to check the pulse of thier patients to monitor.

@Madkillr05: T he reason why it may seem not to work is because the person must understand genetics, dosage, quality and correct combination.
