In a way an uptempo Kambhoji. Another raga which is very similar is Kalashree, but what the difference is between the two, that's not for me to guess :-)

But you or I cannot change the fact this particular video is of a tabla solo. Yes, the saranagi is exquisite and someone should post a sarangi solo of Rameshji but that doesn't change the fact that this video is a tabla solo. So get a grip.

cenkjeekhan! Thanks for posting this Video! Pandit Ramesh is one of the few people who have given the sarangi not only a voice, but unadulterated emotion to go with it. He is one of the greats who belong with the likes of Nathoo Khan.
