You need to be gentle with him till he is sorted...poor little boy. I would knock the shit out of the twat(s) that took him. Then tap their elbows and knee's and ankles with a hammer till they have chips on all their joints. You in the US?? Get him insured, then have him sorted on the insurance. Some sick people out there. Sometimes you have to enforce your own Karma!!
When did you start weight pull training because my staffs 6 months old and pulls a lot.I was thinking of putting it to good use but I don't want to do it incase it hurts him
@imtheguvnor Ohhh ok, but I don't think I'll do anything like that now, since my Pup was stolen and came back limping. It's been quite a while since that, but he limps still a little bit, and near his knee, it clicks and hurts him. I'm not sure what could be wrong, but weight pulling's pretty much out of the question.
@paris101112131415 Really sorry to hear that. You know how it went missing? Have you had his knee x-rayed? may tell you what is happening around the joint area. I hope he gets better with time. Very Gentle exercise. Can you touch it without him getting upset? Sounds like a floating piece of bone near the joint. It can be removed but its the cost of the operation. Good luck to you and your brave dog.
@imtheguvnor@imtheguvnor He was actually stolen out of my Backgarden, and I'm surprised who it was took by, but we haven't yet had his Knee x-rayed, but I actually do think it ould be a possible floating part of bone, because I knocked into his knee on accident, and I heard a click, and I think whatever it is is popping out again. Sometimes it hurts a little when I touch it, but that's only after my Uncle's Dog comes round and they play. He was sick twice and started choking, looked like a fit.

@prolongatum ohh, I was just asking because I was at my 1st weight pull yesterday (Not competing just watching, getting an American Bulldog) and the dog was pulling on sand and the cart was just in rails to stop it getting stuck, the winner was a 23kg Staff who pulled 431kg, It's a new sport to Ireland tho.

Would it be harder on natural surface (sand) even if the cart itself was in rails?

@MrPitBull4Lyf
nope, actually he's better on natural surface - especially grass

Is a running start legal? If so how far are they allowed to run before the chain catches?
dochco 2 years ago
there is no limit but most dont let their dogs do it as it can be harmful

@dochco
it depends which pit bull club organises the show...
