Sounded pretty damn good. Not perfect, but that would be right impossible. Hamil himself has said that this laugh is something he has to tune like an instrument for sometimes an hour or so before recording... he also goes on to thank fellow LA citizens for not thinking him odd as he drives to work laughing like a psychopath and not thinking anything off about it.

As someone who also does a fairly good Joker imitation, I can say that the only way to REALLY do it is to think like the Joker. In other words, imagine killing people in cartoonish ways and then convince yourself it's the funniest thing you've ever seen in your life. Psychologically damaging? Yes. But you've got to suffer for your art, dammit!

i must say that was quite a performance. not too many ppl can pull off doing mark hamhill's joker. no you weren't perfect, but you were very VERY close. good job. the only thing you really need to work on (in the other vids) is raising and lowering your voice for accentuating the mood.

Hell's right, Pgrits. You should look up Mark Hamill's Joker Laugh here on Youtube. There's actually a great video of him at a convention doing an interview where they asked him to do a Joker Line. Which, of course, he ended with the laugh. If you watch his movements, it's obvious he's laughing from the deep pits of his gut. He even admits that the only way to really do it, spot-on, is to just go for it and don't hold back. So basically, pull from your gut, not your lungs. :D

you need to go BESERK with his voice. Imagine you, in a large hall, with thousands of deff people, and your supposed to play the clarinet. Yet, you have no clarinet skills at all. Heres what you should do: Wail on that horn as LOUD as you can, make the notes go as HIGH as possible, and keep it SHORT and SWEET, but also psychotic and full of malice.the people will CRY as they cheer you on.
