A movie that makes ME hungry every time is Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle, and I've never even HAD a White Castle burger (which I need to rectify!). I also agree with the Pulp Fiction comment, the way Sam L describes that burger is sublime!

It might be odd, but I always feel hungry after seeing the feast scene with the lost boys in Hook. Oh and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when Violet eats that bit of gum. Always makes me hungry!

The way you say "it makes me really hungry" is slightly creepy.

But you raise a good point. Movies and TV shows seem to have this effect with food. I'm also glad I'm not the only who feels that way.

The pizza on Teenage Mutant Whatsit Turtles always led to disappointing IRL pizza until I found a takeaway that did Turtles-like pizza.

I totally agree with the 'Super Size Me' one... you've got the guy throwing up all over the street - and all i can think is: "mmm, McDonalds!"

Anyways. I cannot believe you've left 'Pulp Fiction' off of the list - Samuel Jackson describing that Big Kahuna Burger and Sprite is some of the best acting the world has seen - never have I craved food more - so sophisticted, and precise, and exquiste is the whole scene... that is makes me hungry.

Hilarious, I always thought the same thing. I always love when they eat pizza in the simpsons. Just the way it's drawn, and the sound effect they use of them eating it, makes it seem so delicious, but they I remember it's just made out of paper and paint.

Oh my god, exactly the same!! I can't believe it... I am totally the same as that. The food in the Simpons usually looks like grey mush but the pizza looks great. The way the cheese strings across the table.
