  • Dude first tried kickflip melon'd wallenburg, he did so much for skating yet barely is recognized, dudes one of the best ever, only person I ever heard of doing a first try wallenburg

  • sucks he don't skate no more

  • the song made the video for me, awesome skating btw

  • doesn't everyone skate for fun?

  • Its awesome how he twirls the board as he runs up the stairs...

  • he's turnin it to go switch

  • steeze

  • this is skateboarding at its heart its not about competitions and who can do the biggest trick is about having fun doing it the joy of riding.

  • This sucks. I just don't have the same enthusiasm I had when I was skating like a few years ago. It just hasn't felt the same when doing tricks. I used to get so excited but now it's just indifferent. I REALLY want to have that feeling I used to have about it.

  • lol i feel the same way. but i love skating so much i can just cruise around on my board and i instantly feel better. no tricks needed. but ya skatings not like it used to be. out of all my homies im the only one left thats still down to throw down. na thats not true.

  • this is true skateboarding only basic tricks with so much style and so much fun

  • god this makes me feel like a kid again when I didn't know what the industry was, How I long to feel that way about skating again

  • there should be more skater like him, putting the real mean to just skate the street, ah, hes wonderful!

  • he died

  • did he really!???

  • no.

    rumour.

  • no he had an accident trying to frontside flip over a 6 stair hand rail i think and now he cant take any more impact on his knee so he cant skate.

  • no he retired cuz his knee cant take impact anymore so he cant skate.

  • nah he skates for jart skate boards.

    look it up.

  • he retired now

  • This guy is fucking radddd

I love how he seems to just skate down a street and hit like 9 different things

  • son fuckin nasty

  • i love his style

  • Danny is one of the most talented skaters in the world, its really sad that he has trouble getting a sponsor just because thrasher gave him a bad name

  • how did they give him a bad name

i still think he is fucking sick

  • how did they give him a bad name?

  • Danny Gonzalez looks like that nigga off high school musical.

  • lol nice.

  • LMFAO!!!!! so tru too

  • some of the sickest style ever. i love his

180's. His part in the project hardware demo is fuck amazing.

  • nah bro, this guy is fuckin amazing, like im fuckin serious

i love him! (no homo) XD

    he inspires me

  • such a sick skater! every time i watch him skate it humbles me and shows me that there still are people who skate for the right reasons instead of doing it just for the fame or cash...he is like an unsung hero that deserves to be recognized but since he skates how he wants to instead of throwin himself down 20 stair rails he doesnt...he's a huge ispiration in the skateboarding world and someone who always will be!

  • oh yea check out Richie jackson better than life part

  • If you guys think Danny Gonzalez is creative you should check out Richie Jackson , and

    patrick melcher

  • airwalk.wall plan 10 stair much?!?

I love dannys style you can see the smile on his face when he skates.

  • so true, i love them both. i dont get why they give 3 thumbs down for this, patrick and richie are fuckin gnarly! also check out adam alfaro, mark gutterman (newer vids) and nick mclouth. new age of skating :D creative and chill

  • i feel blessed that the first 2 skateboarders i ever seen in a video was Jerry Hsu and Danny Gonzalez. These guys made me want to skate, have fun, be creative and it's still the same. Skateboarding need more skaters like them.

  • this is so true.

people like that really set a new standard and show alot for the new generation of skateboarders.

i mean, the old school skateboarders really were amazing, but now skateboarding has kindof lost its individuality, b.c in alot of videos it can get alittle repetitive and alot of peoples style are the same. but guys like danny gonzalez really do set a new standard. its truly amazing. guys like that make me wanna go out and skate. WE DO need more skaters like that

  • that is soo true. now a days ppl tend to copy of each other.every video that you see you'll notice the same old tricks like kickflip to tailslide 180 outs nd stuff. this is the skating i go for. every time i skate im always the one whos skating different nd tries new things. many ppl now think its stupid but i try to remind them thats what skateboarding is supposed to be fun, creative, nd be individual.

  • I had his gasmask board back in 99 when he rode for chapman, I wish I could find anouther one, He's from a dead era of skating. meaning hes just down for it like in his soul. Good to see a real skater again they are rare

  • Nice to see someone skate for fun. Like they used to do in the 70's 80's and early 90's. It wasn't about getting the footage, photos or doing a flip trick down the most stairs or the largest gap. It was about having a good time with your friends no matter what kind of skating you were doing. Just look at footage from those periods or ask any skater who grew up skating in those time periods of the 20th century.

I've always liked Danny's style and uniqueness that set his video parts apart.

  • hes the opposite of ryan sheckler hes the only person who skates for fun anymore

  • holy shit people still skate for fun??? no fucking way

skateboarding is in a coma right now but itll wake up and be where it was before...

  • same can be said for our government country world leaders even. i would vote for danny gonzales president of the world

  • @deepthought85

yeah then he could legalize skateboarding!!

  • never seen anything like that. Its not hard to have fun when your skating.

  • its been since the reason ive even seen his shit hes still a beast

  • are you like his friend and vidieo dat for him

  • this guy needs another transworld part or something

  • i talked to a few months back

and he said hes going to have a 411 part sooner or later

  • That curved ledge is at the Cemetery in Burbank by the WB studio. Rose Hills I think or Forest Lawn, can't remember-

  • Danny is my hero. Can fuck around and look cool doing it and when he wants to do something serious he wallrides a fucking ceiling! Anyone know where that curve ledge at the end is at?

  • its in LA lots of those locations are around melrose area

  • he has such a good style

  • this part is supa chill

  • song: ceremony - joy division

  • thank you!

  • thanks so much! im big fan of joy division, and i didnt even know about this song :D thanks

  • what is a guy like danny gonzales doing beside skateboarding?

  • isnt that song also used in hot chocolate?

can someone tell me the name of it??

  • very original skater who skates for the right reasons

  • I was at a loss for a title. I thought it sounded sarcastic. Sorry skHaters!

  • if people are giving you shit for the name, you may aswell change it. not that i have a problem with it or anything.

  • Um, no he shouldn't.

That's like saying he should stop making videos cause like 7 fags out of the billions people that exist hate them.

  • not really. its not saying that at all.

  • Most under-rated

  • ...want a trophy for skating for fun? who doesn't?

  • ummm.... people who skate for a golden ticket, forcing themselves to churn out "hammers," perhaps?

  • sure some peeps skate for the wrong reasons but is it really necessary to add "skates for fun" to the title.

  • so sick! i love his style. and i love that you used a JD song.
