  • Or play a bass on a stand.

  • Mark McCarron is still burnin.

  • I still don't get the concept of the barker bass. It isn't the same scale as a double bass or an EUB, it's the size of a bass guitar, and it sounds just like a bass guitar; so why play it upright;, why have a larger body. It it was supposed to emulate or approximate an upright, I would understand but it sounds just like a fretless bass guitar and is larger to transport. What's the point?

  • scott foley was my teacher as well, haven't talked to him in some time, but looks like he's still rippin it up

  • Jazz on a Telecaster? Well I'll be....

  • scott foley (the drummer) used to be my drum teacher, if only he could see me now

  • +2, dammit =) I love the sound =)

  • Wow! When I grow up, I want my Barker to sound like Andrew's! Unfortunately, a brain transplant will likely be required for me to ever sound that good...

Great playing, great bass. Lee Barker is the man.

  • I have a fretless, unlined 5 string Barker upright. I love that bass. It sounds great and is a blast to play.

  • More information at barkerbass dot com.

  • Great playing, for sure. Awesome bass as well.
