I completely agree with you. Mass Effect was also my favorite game of last year. It probably has the best replay value of any game I've ever played. And the problems are minor, and hopefully they'll fix 'em in Mass Effect 2

This game exceeded my expectations, the universe design was awesome, replay value of either being male or female, or vanguard or adept or whatever was great. Of course the route of being a good solider or a renegade made for great replay value as well. Only fault I could find with this game was the driving parts. But that is a single negative in a ocean of postives this game has, awesome game and awesome review. =)

Good review, the one thing that I kept thinking durring the game is how it feels so much like star wars. Kinda like bioware wanted to make kotor 3 but didnt have a star wars license. Lets face the fact biotics = force powers no way around that. Still a great game.

Is it just me or is the case you are holding in the video not the real game but the preorder bonus disc. The only difference in the case is the orange band on the top of the preorder disc.

What impressed me more about Mass Effect is the the fact Bioware succeed to create a whole new fucking awesome universe that even fantastic franchises like Star Trek and Star Wars can be jealous at. I created 4 different Commander Shepard and I have played for almost 200 hours just to tell you how much I love that game. CAN'T WAIT FOR MASS EFFECT 2 AND 3.

I honestly didn't like the driving parts in the game, the controls felt too sensitive, and I kept dying a lot because of that. Also, I think there was a mixed bag last between which deserved game of the year 2007, either Super Mario Galaxy and Bioshock.

Yeah I like Mass Effect. Its a good game and artistically speaking its amazing. Now I think Bioshock still deserved the win more than Bioshock but thats just me.
