However, I think that your student's right arm needs to feel more relax coz I can see that she haven't raise her elbow up, which means there will be problems of projecting sound and gaining the correct force for the bow to the strings. I suggest her to feel relax and give her some bow practice. But still, great performance!

Lol, you can totally tell the difference from the violin with vibrato vs no vibrato, she almost plays like me reading sheet music, I can't tell the differences between the majors and minors though, but I know how to check what key the song is in on the sheet.

that reminds me of last april, playing in washington d.c. when my stand partner said he was gonna bring the sheet music, so i didn't bring mine, and we ended up having to sit with the only other stand playing, and it was four to a stand (even three to a stand can be really hard) and i ended playing mostly by memory haha. lesson: ALWAYS bring your own sheet music.

@AznPandaFTW - relax your fingers lol, and try to hold your violin more with your neck instead of your hand. That way you won't have to constantly grab your fingerboard. Might work, might not, worked for me lol so it should work for you.

I really enjoyed this video despite the wind and a few off key notes here and there. But it is to be expected since it is a learning process.

Good student you have there ^^. I'm sure you have told her, but I'll have to ask you to tell her again for me... Don't give it up! Practice makes perfect. The hard part is over, and now you just have to practice and polish your skills; I'm sure you will be a great violinist someday if you don't give it up! =)
