@D0lf10 Download and install Ubuntu. Then you have to install Compiz and that has all animation stuff you want.

Windows (of course) cant do that

If I'm not mistaken there is another Microsft app ( I think its a power toy for XP) its called the desktop manager and it allows for 4 desktops. I've had it for a while but its not that amazing.

Haha, of course you can close Desktops without logging off, you should be able to do that for every application. Just go into Task Manager (by right-clicking the taskbar or pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del or Ctrl+Shift+Esc), find Desktops.exe and kill the process by right clicking it and selecting End Process.

So, unless your game allows multiple processes of itself to be ran at the same time(which I doubt), then no.

If you want something like that, look into VMware

if you dual boot but not with this tool. This basically creates 4 desktops on your one, but its just divided, not like 4 DIFFERENT desktops (like diff monitors)

looks nice, but there are better free utilities. Running that many explorers at once will slow down people with older systems, and the program has a lot of limitations.

I think I'll stick with virtuawin. Free, up to something like 12 desktops, or 20 or something, doesn't run multiple instances of explorer, small and in background, and it can be hidden.

It's a shame microsoft doesn't have a virtual window manager, it would be a nice add-on to Windows 7.
