  • she has a petite face..very appealing <3

  • omg her smile

  • Let's get this right, people. Truth is, yes, she was smart, she liked to read and she was curious about the world, she wanted to be a serious actress. But also truth is, she never got to be those things, so stop insisting that she wasn't just a pin up. That's all she was because the press and the people never saw her as anything more than just a cute dog performing in public. Marilyn is the perfect example of how society's superficiality can ruin a perfectly innocent, beautiful soul... :S

  • @TheMerinight exactly!!

  • I've noticed that Marilyn Monroe had a similar look and quality as Shirley Temple. Both blonde, pretty, round faced and pouty, very appealing to all genders and ages. They could pass as sisters. Marilyn was "allowed" to be sexual, where as Shirley was not. Anyone else notice a resemblance?

  • the most beautiful woman whos ever lived.

  • Wow, she had class and beauty. A vary rare combination now days

  • notice how she looks kinda sad when she's asked if she's grown. How can they not tell she was depressed?

  • She's so softspoken :)

  • The most beauiful woman who ever lived by far, and so sweet, if I had the choice of anybody sharing my diner table and bed it would have been her.

  • " I'm PRETTY, but I am not BEAUTIFUL

I SIN, but I am not the DEVIL

I'm GOOD, but i am not an ANGEL."

    - Marilyn Monroe

  • She was REAL! she was a real woman! That's what she was! <3

  • She was very insightful and in tune with human emotion. She was intelligent and well educated also. People seem to think that because someone has a bubbly outgoing personality, they can't also be smart. Which is far from the truth. She had an amazing innocence about her, but also was fully aware of everything going on in her life. She managed to be a very complex mix of everything good about the world. (: We are all flawed, but as a whole she was just amazing. Anyone who can't see that is blind.

  • she seems nice :)

  • Yes, she is the most beautiful woman, no can can deny that. But the sound of her voice is so warm and breathy. Most American women are so nasally and sound whiny, but not Marilyn. I could listen to her voice forever.

  • dam shes hotter than megan fox

  • OMG! Sh as so beutidful a she had a beutifil smile. She was a intelligent women that wil would never forget

  • She was definitely not stupid. A very childlike lady, yes - I read somewhere that within a few months she's read over 4000 books.

  • @UncleBobIsAngry She was childlike because of the way people treated her. They saw her as a dumb blonde, and so she was literally stereotyped into acting that way.

Not to mention she did have a few mental problems, and was on medication, so that probably contributed to it as well.

  • I freakin' love Marilyn Monroe!! I Do believe she was an intelligent woman. Hell, she supposedly read the book "Ulysses"!...

  • OMG! she really was a really natural BEAUTY!!

  • sie war so eine wundervolle frau..marilyn lives forever :)

  • She was just so cute.

  • she is so humble and sad!she was innocent beauty!people say that we are similar in behavior and appearance, I just brunette It's nice!!!! )

  • Such a wonderful, beautiful woman.....and so easy to love.

  • They misinterpret that.. meaning, growing in inches or something...

    *smiles* *laughs*

    wonderful, darling

  • whoever the cameraman was, he was obviously distracted :3 marilyn's so pretty. She's a goddess.

  • @Kirikouetlasorciere1 good point

  • NiangoChan sorry for my english i think people like the tragic icon not only the beauty of Marylin, her personal story ect....

  • she's beautiful. so what? get over it. she's so overrated

  • @NiangoChan so she made great movies and made beautiful songs and she was not simply beautiful, she was litteraly flawless. what people are sayin about angelina jolie, natalie portman and scarlett johanson, that they are beautiful and make good movies. imo, they are way more overrated than her

  • @darlingip no one raves about those people like they do marilyn monroe and if they died no one would care after like a week

  • she is so sweet

  • wow she looks like katherine heigl O.o only MORE Prettier

  • shes so fascinating

  • Marilyn is the most gorgeous woman to ever live.

She wasn't the dumb blonde people made her out to be. Her IQ was higher than Einstein's.

And her story is so sad.

  • @LightsWentOutIn99

People mistaken her for Jane Mansfield, who kind of looked like Marilyn, as the one with the high IQ. Jane is the one who had a high IQ but it was NOT higher than Einstein's, though. Jane's IQ was supposedly 163 but Einstein's was over 170...

  • @THEANTICHRIST78 Thanks for the info, I didn't know that. I know Marilyn WAS smart, but I had a suspicion she hadn't an IQ as high as Einstein's.

  • Britney is truly the Marilyn from the 21st century.

    -BEAUTIFUL.

-Controversial (At her time Marilyn was labeled as a cheap, vulgar airhead).

    -Both Iconic and effortlessly successful.

-Severely underrated (for those who really care they know Britney is super talented, but she's not allowed to show it).

-And both fascinated the entire world at massive proportions.

  • that smile lights up the world

  • Marylin is not dead. She's now living in Britney Spears :)

  • @maybemab1 Are you fucking serious? Get your eyes/penis checked.

  • @Kanierd Bitch please. We're talking about Goddesslyn and Legendney here. Both beautiful and talented young ladies heavily criticized by the press who stuggled with mental issues. Except it was Fatal for Marilyn :(

  • @maybemab1 Britney is talented and beautiful? I see where this is going; I'm just gonna drop the argument and leave you to freely indulge with your hallucinations :)

  • @Kanierd Gurl please. Stay mad :coffee:

  • @Kanierd yes! britney is talented and beautiful!!! if u can't see it then fuck u...

  • @negativomore Ahh, no she's not? And no thanks; I'm not interested in fucking you... you can be someone else's bitch :-)

  • I can't get over how beautiful she is. If only there had been decent colour and sound recordings back in her time. I want to see more footage of her like we do with the celebrities of today!

  • flawless!

  • Whatever negative you say to her, SHE'S ALREADY A HOLLYWOOD LEGEND! ;)

  • She was not stupid, she went to college, she enjoyed reading philosophy and all sorts of things like that. Wrote her own poetry, had a whole library full. She's most defintley not easy and she's the most beautiful and photographed woman in the world. Have some respect for the great woman that was on this earth. @aFemale1

  • @Serenity17872 BLA BLA.. she was stupid and easy, we all know it.Bye

  • @Serenity17872 nicely said and done, serenity. I really have a great respect for this beautiful lady. Sad to say that no one among the actresses today have inner beauty (and out) like Marilyn. Very sad.

  • @rene9548 I can never understand why people like you are unable to say something positive about the person they admire without running down others.

  • Marylin (her real name is Norma Jeane) was pushed in the spolight by Hollywood's ambition to create a Star System. She was a part of that. it was created for her. I believe, from quotes and old stuff I read, that she never wanted that star system. She wanted to be an actress, a serious actress. Sad story. Be damned, Hollywood. She didn't want money, she wanted to be wonderful - in her own way.

  • "meaning in inches or something." lol. And if you read her quotes she had so many great ones to say.

  • Her intelligence is what set her apart. You can sense her wisdom in every response.

  • She told Andrew Fanalota in 1950 that most of the messages that were up to the world was not she write by herself!

This indicates that the message that Americans claim wrote two years before she committed suicide is not her!!!

  • mmm id so tap that!

  • she has an innocent, lovely voice :)

  • @smilekkm0208 HER VOICE WAS INNOCENT,but her pussy wasnt

  • @aFemale1 don't tnrow stones, you will be judged yourself for your sins, i dosn't matter if she was or wasn't a pure innocent, she had a hard life, we and that includes you...have no halos so pure we have any right to judge but GOD himself........

  • @mybrokebackmountain LOOK THE WOMAN WAS STUPID AND EASY.. OK ? FACE IT. I READ THAT SHE LITERARY HAD SEX WITH TWO MEN.. THIS WOMAN WASNT OK TO HAVE AS A FEMALE FRIEND... SHE WAS EASY AND STUPID. GOODBYE.

  • totally She Looks like BRITNEY SPEARS Her Smile

  • The Same BRITNEY SPEARS SMILE AND teeth

  • @MoOoDe28Pop no she looks like thalia. but i dunno anyways. :))

  • what movie are they talking about?

  • @theblueangel28 Bus Stop.:)

  • @RideHanna right, i thought so

  • She was far from unintelligent....some of her quotes are the most enduring and quick witted. She explained life and it's trials perfectly. Xo Ox

  • @lyssaj28 She dyed her hair and had plastic surgery and is the role model for many women today, her fame was down to her looks, not her talent.

Look at Paris Hilton, successful business woman, actress and singer!!!

If you look attractive and sleep with the right people its amazing how far you can get in our showbiz obessed world

  • @kevinturvy

Marilyn's talent had nothing to do with her looks. Yes, she was beautiful, but she had charisma that most women do not even posess, and that is what made her famous.

  • @Calvarienberg She wasn't actually stupid. Hollywood just painted her that way. But yes, she was a tortured soul.

  • @kipkayify just like they painted her fat ,size 16 ..she was nowhere near that...

  • what a beautiful voice

  • The most beautiful woman ever

  • I love marilyn !

  • She had Asperger syndrome....Autism.

  • The press treated her so horribly, I love Marilyn Monroe, and I think she was someone who really impacted the world, and she was such a strong beautiful lady! Todays her death aniversery 50 somehting years and people still havent forgot about her for a reason!

  • I love Marilyn because she isn't your average typical celebrity. She's a Hollywood icon but she's still a person who people can relate too. She was beautiful and made people happy but she had her struggles and a horrible past. Although her life looked perfect, it wasn't but she made the most of it. She's proof of rags to riches. Her life is the true Cinderella story.

  • @BadBitchJordynn

Except Cinderella actually lived "happily ever after".

Bill Gates is the ultimate rags to riches story. Although he gained much of Microsoft's wealth and power by shamelessly stealing other's ideas, he is still among the wealthiest people alive and very much alive at 55. Since he is not a Hollywood celebrity who relied mostly on her gorgeous looks to get anywhere, I take it he's not on your radar

Hate to say this to you, but relating to people with mental problems is insane.

  • i love this woman :)

  • Sweetie and sensitive woman

  • she is a symbol of what god can do when he wants to brag about being the best artist in the world....she and sofia loren WOW

  • marilyn monroe hads some of the best quotes ever i belive she was truely intelligent and humorous

  • I have never realized that besides the fact that she is so sexy she is actually one ot my top 5 most beautiful women in the whole world!!!

  • honestly, as iconic as marilyn is, im not a huge fan. but wow, she was absolutely beautiful

  • she doesnt look happy at all...

  • she's so gorgous! she reminds me of britney spears! no?

  • @amamasaeed23 NO... not anything at all like Britney... Marilyn was a unique angelic beauty. There is simply no comparison.

  • i can't believe what good quality this video from 1956 is ! ! ! :)

  • she's so beautiful

  • Society tries so hard to find happiness in beauty. Being beautiful does not make you happy. Marilyn was a perfect example.

  • ..sorry..WAS beautiful...

  • yes! she is beautiful..but she did have 2 plastic surgeries...so after all, no one is perfect..hmmm

  • Her mother is still Alive and living in Kentucky with Marilyn's half sister. Google it.

  • the most enchanting woman ever

  • I litteraly, put my head down scratch my head couldnt believe this womens BEAUTY! DAMN!!!! i mean theres no words big enough to describe her beauty!

  • Marilyn was so beautiful.

    Her talent was amazing too.

    I wish she had lived.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Wow you can really see her anguish behind that beautiful facade.

  • Marilyn is the most beautiful girl to ever have walked the face of the earth.

  • @CentinelThe In your opinion, of course. What about Audrey Hepburn? What about people who aren't famous but are still beautiful? I don't think there's just one beautiful person because most people find several people highly attractive.

  • She was stunning. Just, one of the most gorgeous people in history.

  • delightful

  • That size comment, some people may mistake that as her being stupid during the interview, but if you really read into it, and listen, she was making a joke, she had a good sense of humor seems. Hollywood I believe made her a dumb blond, and near the end she didn't want to be Marilyn Monroe. I love her no matter what negative things have been said. We all know that everyone, in some point of their life has had negtive things said bout them. You either let them get you down or you keep going.

  • @MissGarland20 I agree, I think that she was just making a joke because it is a difficult question to answer. I have studied Marilyn Monroe in film at University, and she definitely wasn't a "dumb blond", that was a role she played in her earlier films and she was type cast into that role, the way a lot of actors were at that time. People just say mean things about her because they are jealous. She was beautiful and wonderful and seems like a lovely person in her interviews.

  • I'm glad to see you agree, that's pretty cool you studied her, I'd love to study old films, I love old Hollywood. And you're right, most young actresses were type cast into a specific character we'll say, and they had such a hard time being cut lose from it because it made the greedy studio bosses money. It's hard to not think of Marilyn though when someone mentions Hollywood tragedy, but her tragedy was just something that over shadowed her true talent and wisdom, well along with her beauty. =)

  • @MissGarland20 I don't see how she was being "dumb" at all. People are the dumb ones to think that. That's just how she acted it was part of her personality and it made her shine even more. Oh well.. people hate on everything.

  • @BadBitchJordynn-Exactly, her quirks made her different, but so many people didn't catch on to her unique attitude on life, so it was cut short.

  • @MissGarland20 Hey if you're interested in Marilyn Monroe then you shouldl read The Immortals - it's a fiction book but it realisticly portrays her as I think she was - Norma Jean living under the pretense of Marilyn Monroe.

  • Her eyes were so beautiful. She was stunning.

  • she's so beautiful and her eyes just oozes this sexiness that just draws you in, she seems very sweet as well and even though she's this sexy icon, there's sort of this bashful, child like innocence about her thats makes her even more adorable, she was used alot throughout her life and i really wish she had got the love and respect from hollywood and the people around her she so truly deserved

  • How she speaks reminds me of Britney Spears.....

  • @EthanGryphon I thought the exact same thing!

  • i wish i could go back in time so i can meet her in person. her voice and her look is just so perfect.

  • таких больше не было... в ней сочеталось и робость ребенка и сногсшибательный эротизм...

  • she is sooooo beautiful, but her sadness came out of her forced smile. wish she got all the happiness..she ll always be alive in the hearts of the people who admire her.

  • She seems so sad in this interview but still so outstandingly stunning.......just absolutely beautiful and soooo innocent, it,s so tragic what happened to her and how she was treated so unfairly in hollywood, she deserved so much more happyness after her unstable childhood, although she was adored my millions and loved by her husbands and close friends she just couldnt love herself and there were so many things too love lol, she was intelligent, very very witty and very sensitive too. love u MM

  • She looks so beautiful, and so incredibly sad behind that forced smile...

  • She's gorgeous although she's faking one hundred percent the smile. Although she was an icon back then, she had all men after her and such, she wasn't happy. She lived depressed all the time. She just wanted to be loved for who she was but she didn't seem to find someone. So sad.

    RIP Marilyn.

  • Thought beautiful, there seems to be something off about her. As if she's putting on a fake smile in this interview...

  • She's Beautiful!

  • Beautiful.Geniune.Charming.

  • She's so beautiful

  • You can defiantly see the sadness in her eyes at times. As beautiful and talented as she was I wouldn't wish her life on anyone.

  • 0:41, how can she be so gorgeous, huh? she's just so beautiful!!!

  • i can't get over people accusing her of plastic surgery. plastic surgery hardly existed in her time, the only real thing you could do to enhance your beauty back then was wear makeup. that's why so many people weren't as attractive as hollywood stars, and that's why marilyn monroe stood out: she was one of the few as attractive as her.

  • @shcnoozlebop Well i agree that marlyn was allways beautiful and stood out , however, not too long ago a doctors in LA were going through old files and found one for marlyn, aparently she got i chin implant. Plastic surgery DID exist back then however it was very unusual/unheard off for it to be used for non medical related purposes.

  • @599524 are u sure? it's just a lot of shit goes around.

  • @shcnoozlebop i saw it on a documentuary about surgeries, and though i know media isnt allways the most reliable for this kind of thing they did have genuine paperwork, infact i think they even sold it to some random person for millions.

  • @599524 i looked it up and it turned out she'd had her teeth done so they didn't protrude and the tip of her nose as well

  • @shcnoozlebop serious!? Its insaine to think someone like her ever thought she needed such procedures, but then again lovley marlyn was actually suprising really self concious.

  • @599524 yeah... i know megan fox will never measure up to someone who looks like marilyn monroe, but being told as often as she is she's the hottest woman at the moment, you wouldn't think she'd get anything done to her face, yet she did.

it's no wonder she was a mess, though. she never got a break from the kinds of men she lived with not just as an adult but as a girl, too

  • @599524 The chin implant story is true but they also found that it dissolved so made no real difference to her looks and she only got it done after being bullied being called a 'chinless wonder' by someone. And who would look at her and say she had an ugly or beautiful chin? I mean really!

  • Comment removed

  • Megan Fox sounds like her but in an accelerated version.

  • @juliocesar24 except megan fox hasn't got an hourglass shape and her face isn't as pretty.

  • @shcnoozlebop they are just bimbos, don't get to passionate defending someone you didn't know. By the way, you need some good glasses, Megan's face was beyond pretty (when she had no silicon in her lips).

  • @juliocesar24 i know she looked good before, but she doesn't anymore. and it depends on what you consider good looks.

  • @juliocesar24 No... just, no.

  • I admire her beacause she didn't have the model body, she wasn't very tall, she was not thin, but she was fascinating and interesting. I think that common people like us should learn from her: maybe we cannot have the perfect thin body like twiggy ( was that perfect anyway?) but we can become fascinating, which means having our interests and hobbies and not being an empty person that watches herself from day to night in front of the mirror :))

  • @XxxIreneNicolexxX i don't know... i think she's set the bar for standards of beauty, but not the same way as angelina jolie (her lips look more like a deformity than a flattering feature to me, anyway). the way her eyebrows frame her face is perfect to me. and the leg-up she had over all of her rivals was she had everything: she looked youthful, sultry and had class all at the same time.

johansson is supposed to be set to play her in her movie, but she's too youthful, her eyes are too big.

  • i wish i could meet her...i am a big fan of her ...from India....

  • with all do respect, but if to replace blonde hair and fake eyelashes and lipgloss for example for marylin or pamela anderson or so on, would something be different:). just wondering...

  • What an intelligent human being! Listen to her responses--careful response, analytical. Totally different from the public perception of her then (not now). And the studios just shoved Marilyn into one blond bomshell picture after another. I'd go looney too.

  • Obviously she had plastic surgery? lol i don't understand why people are still trying to find ways of denying it.. no one cares anymore, there is no way those photos of her with the red hair when she was young and then when she went blonde her face just matured? NO WAY. Sure she was beautiful and she will always be remembered. but what does it all mean in the end?

  • @izbiz24 you are basing this on nothing. if she'd had plastic surgery, the world would have known it. i think you're just trying to find flaws. she was just a pretty person, but she was exceptionally pretty for her time. the photos from when she was younger, you must be living under a rock not to know people's faces can change from when they're 20 to when they reach 30. my mum looks nothing like she did when she was 20, and she didn't have surgery.

  • Beautiful smile and voice!

  • she had looks, money and fame....and yet. she didn't have happiness. Like they say "only the good die young"

  • she has a beautiful, soothing, soft voice. Seriously how beautiful does a woman get?

  • OK.... Shes beautiful ok and Im superman cuz shes avarage

  • the most beautiful and graceful woman ever excisted

  • Believe it or not, beautiful people have mental issues too. She attempted to commit suicide around seven times during the course of her life and she had a mentally ill mother and an emotionally absent father. Marilyn Monroe, although she was absolutely gorgeous, was depressed, alienated, anxious, and could have been bipolar.

  • @frankied00m That's so sad... I read somewhere that Britney Spears was bipolar too and I remember when she was put on suicide watch too. I feel bad for people who's lives were ruined by fame.

  • @frankied00m In other words quite normal! and just like the rest of us ,we all have some mental issues of some kind from time to time more or less.

  • @mymusic777ify Everyone may go through depression at different times, but that is different from mental illness and attempting suicide several times. She had some extreme mental problems that seem to run in her family. Her mother was mentally ill and put in the hospital for it. And her mothers father suffered from mental illness. Also her brother suffered from. She was really sick and drinking and taking narcotics made it worst.

  • @mspinkytee ...and for you to focusing and commenting only on that makes her better?now THAT is sick! if you don't have anything nice to say about her it tells more about your mental health than hers!

  • @frankied00m So, because Marilyn Monroe had mental issues and struggled and suffered, we're supposed to think less of her? Give me a break! That's reason to praise her even more. she held herself up so well in the public eye in spite of what was happening in her personal life. That makes her a very strong, willful woman. I don't understand what you people are trying to get at when you point out her troubled psyche....

  • @frankied00m She didn't try to commit suicide 7 times!!! It was only 3!

  • @BadBitchJordynn

    "Only 3"??

I'd say that is serious enough.

Listen up. Many other actors and actresses went through a personal hell, and some of them got blacklisted by greedy studio executives at the time. She got more chances at her age than many others.

Marilyn Monroe never once got an Oscar nomination although she was a decent actress. She was foolish enough to marry Joe DiMaggio, only later to realize he needed a housemaid as much as a wife.

She wasn't Grace Kelly for sure.

  • she was so beautiful and sexy and i dont believe for 1 minute she killed herself i recon the kennedys had something to do with it they wanted to keep her quite cause i recon they thought she new to much about them

and it wouldnt supprise me if thats the reason for president kennedys shooting in 1963 maybe someone thought the same and killed him cause that i recon its true in my opinion anyway

  • i think she was on a permanent cocktease drug throught her life and the she OD'd on it in 1962.... either that or she took to much of it and "teased" someone too far that they had her silently murdered.

  • Absolutely beautiful!Sleep in peace forever Marilyn.

  • how can one woman be so flawless?

  • she's so breath-taking...

  • I lover Marylin Monroe, I love her so much and I don't even know her

  • Really cannot find a flaw in her. She's actually the most beautiful person that has ever walked this earth! xxx

  • she's sooo pretty ! loves her ! and i like her voice ;p

  • For one, I don't consider beauty through surgery to be true physical beauty.

But also, I just don't see what everyone else sees. I see a pretty woman. I can think of so many women that I find to be much prettier than her. I just don't get it.

  • @flatlanderdot Like who? I'm a Monroe-fan, so I'm curious.. :)
