these unionists are greedy, spoilt brats. In France, we get regular strikes, unions have a lot of power. and france is like a third world country compared to the USA. high wages for those who have a union job - screw everyone else is the union motto. since unions were stood up to in Australia, we have a far higher standard of living and less unemployement.
... Problems, Problems, but No One offers any SOLUTION! That is strange, since there is obviously ONE SOLUTION for ALL Social Evils, and that is a SCIENTIFIC, MONEYLESS, CONSUMER-BASED ECONOMY that will build IDEAL PRIVATE CITIES that will be Self Sufficient, Energy Efficient, Automobile Liberated, Population Limited, Debt Free, Resident Owned, and Self-Governing. For details see YOUTUBE.COM for "The Great Pyramid, why was it built - Lesson 1c, Lessons 3,4".
Democracy and a free market system can only exist with the protection of property rights. Who is paying for the courts, state department, military, and police? The middle class. Taxes based on properties protected, with limited exemption and only by referendum, would have those investments in other countries paid for by the investors. The corporations need protection from each other more than anyone.
Is it true that there are private security forces there in Wisconsin and Wilwaukee, the ones that were in Kabul? If so, ask Obama what he thinks of that, and ask his wife as well, especially if she has ever said anything about equal rights for women. Does that not include the women of Wisconsin? Also, don't take for granted that all the Democrats are with you, ask them publicly.
Australia has had workers rights ripped away over the last decade as the unions became ineffective.
@abigailmcintyre The company you're thinking of is Wackenhut and they were indeed hired by Walker. He fired the union guards and hired Wackenhut during a "fiscal emergency" and stuck Milwaukee with the tab- oh wait, sound familiar? What Walker has done to us now (claiming a budget crisis) he's done before, and MIlwaukee is still suffering from it. I was ashamed of my fellow Wisconsin voters in November, but it seems like they're getting their sense back, slowly but surely.
Layoffs are a driect result of CEO failures to manage their business.
Even at so called 4% unemployment, the total cost is $3.4 Trillion each year. Government here and in Irland, Greece and elsewhere can not continue these layoffs that do not solve the root cause problem!
Wow, very weird coverage of this story. I hope this not what was broadcast in the foreign press because it is far, far, far from the truth. The union protests have been on 24x7 coverage in the US press for weeks. There is no parallel between to Egypt or any other place either. The protests are not about oppression, or the threat of loss of life from a despotic dictator. The protests are by government workers against changes in their contracts and collective bargaining ability.
i joined the solidarity rally in nyc and it was packed (literally!) with all kinds of wonderful people. the rally spilled out to streets adjoining the designated area. a great turn out but i didn't see much if any media there. got home and pretty much nothing online except from the participants.
this is exactly what happened when we marched against invading iraq back in 2003. i was shocked that such a huge and important event could be ignored the way it was. now i'm wiser and know why.
Stop saying that corporations are spending their own money not tax payers, look at all the subsidies we pay. Not just tax breaks, but actual SUBSIDIES we pay businesses. Those are our tax dollars. Do some research, the companies with the largest profits still continue to get our tax dollars.
@BowedOak1 All to true it's known as corporate welfare and has been going on for decades but nobody talks about it. In some states the companies receive a subsidy or tax break for every person they hire from a certain group (handicap economic race education etc) regardless of actual ability to do the job to the point they make twice what they pay the individual to employ him/her. Sometimes they get money to provide a service that will never be used or make a product that is also never used.
Obviously you didn't see my SCIENCE and MATH based degrees in Nursing. I don' care what your brother went to school for because you apparently haven't. My current job is as a military officer with 2 combat tours in Iraq. Do you have another smartass comment about what I do for a living?
My point about the $372 million is that it is comng from our tax dollars because we are spending more for government workers and their Unions. I could car less what Corporate America spends...it's THEIR money. Ever hear of capitalism?
You have no idea who I am or what I believe. Just so you know, I DO NOT believe that the rich should have a free ride and the rich don;t believe that either. I loyally serve my country as a Soldier and make less than most people with my educational backgrund. Please do not generalize those people who do not believe what you do...that is called propaganda. I believe in hard-working Americans and I also believe in being fiscally responsible. You are the one living in a fantasy wold my friend.
@michellehaas Those people in the video, who protest in solidarity with the people in Yemen, Bahrain and Egypt etc. Who else did you think I would show my respect to? :-D
Let's not forget these are Fireman, Police and Teachers not the wideloads in the capital that are going to be hurt by this grab for power. And that is what it is all about not the budget. Have ANY of these politicians offered to take a cut in pay? NO! Have they even tried to compromise? NO! Would they allow this to be done to them? NO!
@michellehaas You need more education and less TV. Policemen and Firemen are included in the bill that takes away their right to collective bargaining. They (like the Teachers) are government employees..
Really? You think I need more education? I have 2 associate degrees in the social sciences (yes, a liberal subject), 2 bachelor's degrees(one in nursing) and a MBA. Maybe you are the one who needs more education and less time regurgitating what you hear from the Unions. This issue in Wisconsin is solely focused on teachers...Firemen and Policemen are not in the bill. Try reading it...it's on Governor's website.
@michellehaas And you think they won't be next? lol MBA it figures! My brother who got his Engineering Degree at Va Tech used to tell me those that couldn't hack the math or science went the Business route. My experience with MBAs is that they are good with money but mostly out of touch with people outside the business community like their customers or employees. It also points to the source of your anti-union bias. The teachers are the only target? Yeah for now maybe.
@Gamesman001 You really are a hater...where is your Master's degree? Obviously you didn't see my SCIENCE & MATH based degrees in Nursing or my 2 degrees in the solcial sciences FULL of liberals. The difference between you and I is that I can actually listen to another viewpoint. I don't care what your brother went to school for because you apparently didn't. My current job is as a military officer with 2 combat tours in Iraq. Do you have another smartass comment about what I do for a living?
@michellehaas lol If you really paid attention to what I posted I said what my brother said not my opinion and I was pretty transparent about not having a "degree'. True I knew it would cause you to blow a gasket. As to listening to others you only saw the first part not the rest. I don't hate you or any person just ignorance and bias. Having been a victim for most of my childhood I tend to be more empathetic with those who are being victimized. BTW I do have some education just no "paper".
@michellehaas Obviously you put a high value on education. Why do you not value educators? As with most professions I have found good and bad teachers though most bad ones don't last. In fact my sister (who is going for her masters now) has been a teacher for some years. As to your occupation I will give you the benefit of doubt and assume you served honorably. Why can't you do that for these teachers? Yes I am a smartass been that way since 3 and it has earned me much grief and much joy.
Wisconsin is going to Win ! When 75,000 People feel strong enough to stand out side in the cold and snow of Feb. in Madison Wisconsin The People of Wisconsin are going to Win. The People united will never be defeated.... Scott Walker is the best govenor Corp. money could buy.
Wisconsin will win when the Unions lose! Did you know $372 MILLION dollars are funneled from Government Unions to political campaigns every year? Governor Walker is not attacking working class people, he is trying to save money by decreasing spending. For once, ALL the people of Wisconsin will benefit, not the pompous Government workers.
@michellehaas You are so misinformed. What about the $46,000 the Koch Bros. gave to Scott Walker. and the 100',s of millions he gave in tax cuts to the rich in Wisconsin just last month. Scott Walker is the best Govenor Corp. Money can buy. This man is an embarassment to the working people of America not just Wisconsin. SHAME
Really? You are going to bring up $46,000 when the Unions are paying political candidates in the MILLIONS? Just a question...how exactly does Governor Walker pass tax cuts? Oh he doesn't...the State Legislature does! Last month there were no bills passed becuase the Democratic Senators left the state. Now we can talk about SHAMEFUL! Are you even from Wisconsin?
@michellehaas Unions money? Your too funny! Corp. money is a monster compared to what Unions put up. Are you stupid or what? What a Joke. This is more about killing the unions and the middle class so Corp. American can own EVERYTHING. If it were not for unions this country and it's people would be a lot worse off.
The Best Union shop in Wisconsin. The Green Bay Packers. Unions WORK!
First of all, the Green Bay Packers are not a Union...it's called a CO-OP. A co-op is a company owned by numerous shareholders...hence the GB Packers. Unions in this country were formed over 100 years ago to protect workers from unsafe conditions (ie the Railroads), ensure fair labor laws (ie child labor) and improve working conditions. We don't need thm anymore because we have LAWS protecting us as employees, ie OSHA, The Unions have basically lost their purpose.
You may find me funny, but in this case, I am also right. Corporate America is not the dvil here, the Unions are when they spend $372 MILLION on political campaigns every year. That is a fact...look it up.
I wish the media would stop saying the protests in Wisconsin are about wages and benefits. They are not. People are upset and protesting because the Governor is gutting collective bargaining rights for public workers if this bill passes.
This is akin to the Middle East in that people are standing up against the status quo. It is true that the people of the Middle East have had to stand up for themselves amid snipers and others wanting to snuff out their desire to have a democracy and a prosperous economy. And, it should be noted, that their tremendous COURAGE has encouraged those here in the Mid-West and entire US to stand up and speak out in order to be heard in our democracy, despite leaders who are trying to silence them.
what joke reporting, acting as if this is like the middle east. Last I checked protesters in madison weren't getting sniped and having their brains bashed in.
@xxxTxxxRxxxCxxx , I live in Madison, Wisconsin. The governor is indeed trying to kill us. He wants to remove regulations calling for the purification of drinking water. He wants to take away my health care. I repeat, he is trying to kill us.
@xxxTxxxRxxxCxxx Of course that could never happen in the US right? Pull your head out of the clouds people ARE getting attacked. Don't you remember the congresswoman gunned down recently along with several innocent bystanders? Yes it didn't happen in WI but the same type of people are involved. And yes there have been incidents of violence from the pro side. The only difference between here and the mid-east is a matter of degree. If unchecked the rancor and violence will escalate.
New York, LA, Miami, Dallas, even Chicago can care less about Wisconsin, and I'm from Wisconsin, so I'm not shocked the media is luring it's attention towards the middle east because Wisconsin isn't that interesting to New York or LA. Just look at sports ratings.. More people will watch a game between the Miami Heat and LA Lakers (even if they're bad) than a NBA finals game between the Milwaukee Bucks v.s. Minnesota Timberwolves, what does New York or LA care?
This is big business that has a governor in their pocket. Walker needs to be removed for his statements made in the now famous fake Koch phone call. When the unions fall say goodbye to the American dream. The tea party founders like Koch brothers want to bring down the unions. Dirt wages, no benefits = more profit.
Why should anyone watch CNN's reruns of Iman's beauty tips when they can get real news from this channel, and other news microchannels. Good work RT making corporate media unnecessary!
The Internet is being used to revolutionize societies. Tell your Congressman to rewrite the “Employee Freedom of Choice Act” so it uses the Internet to allow workers to request and conduct union votes DIRECTLY with the NLRB. Truly secret votes where employers can’t identify and fire organizers. Force employers to bargain with unions 30 days after a successful vote. Bring in an arbitrator 30 days later if no contract is in place. In 2012 VOTE for Obama, House & Senate majorities and pass it!
The Dropkick Murphys would like to take a moment to acknowledge the struggles of the working people of Wisconsin and to pledge our support and solidarity by releasing the song "Take Em Down" from our upcoming album.
It is not violent here in WI. We are not physically fighting the system, but rather making our voices heard. This story was one sided, and that is unfair. We are not fighting the government as a whole, but rather just the "Budget Repair Bill."
Of course it isn't violent here, we all know that. But this movement IS more than just fighting the budget repair bill. We are fighting for the working rights of individuals in our entire country. We know that once this bill is passed, other states are waiting to follow suit. Private unions will be busted next. This is a movement to rise up against the republicans and their 'budget repair bills' that support corporate interests that hurt our working class citizens.
I am in Madison at the protest. It is peaceful, hell, even the police are joining us. I just posted a video thanking other states for their support. See it on my channel.
i think if people were capable of being honest with themselves about their own emotions they would realize that most of this anti-union sentiment is pure jealousy. and when the smoke clears after you have destroyed a union community youa re going to find out that you have destroyed the very towns you live in because a LOT of the businesses in these communities depend on the revenue generated by sales to union members. now the economy is REALLY going to suffer. who are you going to blame now?
YouTube allows an upload to be used as a video comment on just a SINGLE posting. So please search YouTube for “Introduction to Teaching 101.mpeg”. Don’t know how much of my taxes are going to study public education, but Washington could save a LOT on consultant fees by just reading the responses to my above upload from hard pressed teachers from around the country. Teachers KNOW what is wrong with American education – career and politically motivated administrators do not.
AMERICANS ARE THE ONE WHO MOSTLY NEED OF A REVOLUTION, THEIR COUNTRY IS HIJACKED BY A ZIONIST SHADOW GOVERNMENT WHO HAD ENSLAVED THE USA. AMERICANS ARE SO BRAINWASHED BUT THEY WILL NEED TO WAKE UP BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
@glower125 If we have a revolution in America the entire world will be a better place and we can be the global leader again! I don't think the people understand what our Government is hiding from us!
This Russian immigrant in Madison Wisconsin thanks Russian TV for truthfully reporting on the situation in Madison. We are at the Capitol every day, we are fighting for our rights. It is not about the money or concessions. It is the calculated right wing agenda of dismantling public unions and selling out the state to corporations. In solidarity from Wisconsin!
I was there for 5 days. I slept on the floors of my Capitol building. I ate food that was donated from all 50 states and an additional 58 countries. I talked with people I'd never met like they were people I had known my whole life. I talked to people who, without realizing it, CHANGED my life. There was no anger. There was only love. Russia Today, you are the only people who seem to understand what we're doing. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
@ElchananBenAvraham Oh please many pf the young protesters showed up for the party. What goes on beteewn the Union and the Gov. borderlines criminal. The union force people to pay dues Millions then the games begin. The union use the money to back a politician the politician then uses his power to past laws giving the union ridiculous contracts and benefits, Many of the politicians made promises they new one day could not keep. Thats who people should be mad at.
I am now confused what with Fox news is saying... Glen Beck you should be supporting the people from Wisconsin..!!! what happen with the Sacred Constitution words.....".We the People? or was this just a Slogan to attract viewers.? Were are you ?
Walker considered sending violent agent provocateurs into the crowds. This would have put the lives of law enforcement and citizens. Wacky Kaddafi and Wacky Walker should both step down.
And where was this news network when tea party protesters where being demonized? The tea party wasn't having doctors write bogus doctor excuses for them so they could get paid by tax payer dollars to protest.
Mwahahahaha! Comparing Union worker protests to the people in Egypt. That's so redonkulous. The people in Egypt have lived under conditions most of us have never had to. Not to mention that these are government workers. Everybody in the private sector is happy to just have a have a job, but these guys don't want the economy to affect them. I guess they figure they can just steal more of the tax payer's money. I'm glad I live in Florida where we have a balanced budget.
Who cares? Wisconsin sucks. You ever hear anybody saying they want to move or go to Wisconsin. Some loser says Wisconsin is the new Egypt...lmfao are you serious????? America didn't even know about Wisconsin until their little protest erupted. hahahaha
@harvardjrnl this is about scott walker being corrupt as fuck sucking the dicks of the extreme wealthy trying to tax the lower classes just for more wealth and power. it started here and it will spread. but i doubt your fat ass will do anything to help. eat another burger you dumb basterd.
@bronzeownsu First off, it is just like anything else. The Democrats spend money not in existence and it is up to us "America" to repay by cutting programs. Think about it, if Democrats were more financially responsible we "Americans" would not have to put up with this.
Second: I am 6'6" 260 lbs (lbs is pounds, since you don't seem to intelligent) with a 5% body fat, so "yes" I will eat another burger. LOL. Are you serious? You actually gonna argue this point. LOL
@harvardjrnl look kid this shit is a joke and i seen the walker prank call too repubs want nothing but greed and power and you can't argue with it. blow me blow fox blow all there koch, your shit.
@bronzeownsu Typical Demcocrat. You started out by saying, "Look kid..." Like I said beforfe the majority of Americans 18-50 are Repub. Why are you posting anything anyway? You made no statement, but to back me up. Thanks
@Hear2lookatstuff If you really are from UW I assume you have some semblance of intelligence. Parents were BIA and IHS so grew up on both reservations, including Turtle Mtn. and Crow reservations. You should have figured that out by my comments. Also, being this is public account some videos I never even commented on. Can't believe you "Googled" my screenname to get comments. Hahahaha. You seriously need a life. Are you that bored? Get a woman. Our Native Club here is laughing at your posts.
This is almost humorous. You know what it all boils down to? MONEY and IGNORANCE. You tune into this youtube video attacking your fellow Americans in at time when we need to ban together. TURN on YOUR TVS people. At least we have the right to protest without being gunned down by our government. Hey I have an idea, let's quit pointing fingers and get this thing figured out. (Wow look at that I didn't even have to swear or call names.)
@Minuteman9112012 You're not very smart, and you're not a good person, are you, nitwit? You probably love imaginary bible characters, like Jesus, more than you love humans. "Conservatives" are always on the wrong side of history.
@Minuteman9112012 I'm talking about how disgusting it is when vile "conservative" douche-bags, like you, hope that the protesters lose their jobs. Now do you understand what I'm talking about, dummy?
@Minuteman9112012 Yes, I know about the protests, dummy. I'm tired of lunatics, like you, fighting for the rights of the rich, when you have zero chance of being rich yourself. (No, dummy, you will not win the lottery.) If people don't stand up against the lunatic, right-wing, Jesus-loving idiots like Scott Walker, we are all going to end up slaves. People should have been rioting in the streets thirty years ago when Grandpa Douche-Bag Reagan fired the air traffic controllers. Now is the time!
@heathdwatts If you knew what was going on, you would know that the State of Wis. is broke and that the people of that State voted in grown ups to clean up the mess.
The taxpayers cannot afford to be robbed anymore by these public sector unions.
The fourteen Democrats who fled the State should be recalled and fired as well.
@Minuteman9112012 Wisconsin is not broke. According to the Legislative Fiscal Bureau of WI, the state will have >$120 million budget surplus this year. Little Scottie Walker is hardly a grown up. He's another college drop out, like Rush Limbaugh, who has crazy, right-wing ideas that appeal to a significant portion of our predominately stupid U.S. population. Why aren't you complaining about Walker dolling our $140M to special interest groups in January?
@heathdwatts You can't get around the fact that Scott Walker ran his campaign and WON on this issue.
The taxpayers/voters of Wis. threw out the Democrats in the last election in order to contain State spending.
This is the will of the people in Wis.
Do you want to disregard the will of the people?
Everybody knows that all these union dues go straight to the Democrat party. That's why you sheep are being told that you 're supposed to be mad. GRRR!
@Minuteman9112012 He won on the issue of cutting spending, that's what people agreed with and they were willing to give that up. What theyre angry about is the fact that they wont be able to ask for it back once we are out of the hole, it's collective bargaining that people want, not so much the benefits.
@Minuteman9112012 Walker received huge sums of money from the Koch brothers, just as the Tea Party does. He ran a nasty campaign, designed to appeal to low-brow, racist fools. Apparently, WI has a good portion of idiots in its populace. The 2010 election had nothing to do with "the will of the people"; the Republicans, Tea Party, and the corporations that fund them know how to effectively use propaganda to appeal to stupid people.
@heathdwatts The public sector union goes a step further by requiring union membership, taking union dues and sending them straight to the Democrat party...Funding more candidates demanding more tax money.
It's totally unsustainable and it has to stop!
It's not a matter of right and left, this will bankrupt the State!
How can you say that the election had nothing to do with the will of the people?
Are you just going for open revolution now because your side lost a midterm?
@Minuteman9112012 Scott Walker gave $140 million in tax breaks to businesses that did not need them in January. Now, he is claiming that there is a budget deficit, but he caused the budget deficit. Of course, since there will be a $123M budget surplus in WI this year, the budget deficit will be <$20M. However, why is it that this Republican governor can irresponsibly spend away the state's budget surplus and then attempt to punish those who keep the state's infrastructure intact for his mistake?
@Minuteman9112012 Your answers come from "Faux" News, the lunatic Republicans, and your corporate masters. I can only hope that there are enough thinking people in the U.S. to counteract your iniquitous ideology.
@Minuteman9112012 The difference between my ideas and yours, is that I am using evidence to support my argument, while you are not. Walker squandered $140M in January, he's now claiming that a budget crisis exists, when there is not one. You don't like unions, so you think Walker's actions are justified, but you and he have no evidence to support your argument.
@heathdwatts If there was no budget crisis, Walker probably would not have been elected.
You just refuse to see the big picture in that State. There is a $3billion hole.
If the bill is not passed, there will be layoffs, lots of them!
I don't know what tax breaks you're talking about, but if they kept business from leaving the State, they're better off in the long run. Once it's gone, it's gone!
WOW...I bet you are a Democrat. FOX news is the most objective and watched news network in the US. Try listening to a couple different news networks besides CNN and you will see who reports the most accurate news. Let me give you a hint becuase you don't seem too smart...that would be Fox News!
@michellehaas I don't get my news from corporations. I use NPR or the BBC. You are incorrect about my intelligence, dummy. Now go masturbate to Faux "News" like a good "conservative".
Wow...your use of derogatory, disgusting language is proof you have no brain. If you are so intelligent try more appropriate language. You listen to the BBC, a British News Network? I do too, but there has been very little on the issues in Wisconsin. I also listen to NPR when I can stomach it. You can say all you want about FOX NEWS, but you are just as biased as you claim conservatives are. You have no idea what my political affiliation is, again proof of no intelligence.
@michellehaas Yes, I am biased because I believe that hard working Americans should have the same rights as billionaires. You believe that the rich should get a free ride at the expense of everyone else. You are willing to give tax cuts to the rich, while cutting middle class wages, if you support Scott Walker's ideology. You and your "conservative" ilk live in a fantasy world where you believe that you will someday be rich and will then benefit from "conservative" ideology. You are mistaken.
@heathdwatts No one is gonna lose their jobs. My state is broke, and we need change. At the moment Walker is in the hot seat.. He's trying to do something about this, because obviously no one else is going to. He's attempting to dig us out of a very deep hole.
@ESCAPEisaPARADOX If WI were indeed in trouble, which it is not, then you chose a very unqualified person to address those perceived economic problems. Scott Walker is not qualified to fix problems, but he will create many during his reign.
@heathdwatts You see, you're mistaken. My state is in trouble. Our debt is out of control, and some one HAS to do something about it. I'm not a huge fan of Walker, but he's not sitting around waiting for someone else to do something about our problem. He's attempting to fix it. Enough said
@ESCAPEisaPARADOX He is not smart enough to fix a problem. You've putting your trust in a fool that has played the same game before. If you're not a Walker fan, I hope you'll vote him out in four years.
@heathdwatts I feel so bad for you. You're so worked up over this, do u even know the real issue here? Are you sure you're aware of what state is in trouble? Do you know what we're talking about even? This isn't an issue of "conservatives" or "liberals" right or left wings....this is a much deeper issue than that. Stop pointing fingers, and do some more reading on the Walker Bill. Please!
the reason you dont see them on the newspapers is because most of the country agrees with the cuts wisconsin has had to take. the spendings in the last decade have to be compensated. too bad they have piled up to the point of protests. but its necessary.
This uncertainty in society is nothing new, and neither is uncertainty in the economy. People are to short-lived to experience these unfortunate wave patterns, but our documented history describes in great detail, the fluidic nature of society; a system by default must collapse as both a function of time, of space, of mass, or of any propagation of physicallity. Wisdom would be to anticipate such a collapse prior to it's manifest, and position oneself to pick up the peices.
4. every year muslims pay zakat, and some other taxes and nonmuslims pay jizyah which go to the bayt al-mal (literally means "house of wealth")...this money is used first for the zakat which means distributing it to the poor and needy (the qor'an defines who are the ones who deserve the zakat) and also projects such as univerisities, parks, firms and others
5. the currency isnt based on loans and interest which lead to slavery as many of us can see
in this way for the owner to keep his land he must work the land which leads to prosperity...if he doesnt work the land he may keep it for 3 years and if these 3 years pass and he doesnt start working someone else has the right to build a fence around that land and work it..this way the economy also propseprs and the land doesnt just stand there without any use...
no company has any right to put her hands on these in order to sell them to the ppl to gain profit...these resources are created by god and the man didnt create anything so these are public property (not in the capitalistic sense, but in the real sense...its the property of the ppl)
3. the land: every single onwer of land must use his land in order to help economy to prosper, if the man doesnt use that land for 3 constant years someone else has the right to come and take it and use it
ill give u ppl a few examples of the points of islamic type of economy...
1. the state must be sure that every single citizen has his basic needs...in islam the needs are "food, shelter and clothing"...the rest are luxuries for which ppl ofcourse must work like any other economy...but the state must be ensure that every single citizen has his needs: food shelter and clothing
2. natural resources such as water and energy (electricity) must be distributed by the state equally to the ppl
is it me? or is the 'liberal' media trying to sweep this important, historic event under the rug? unlike the tea party movement, where the 'liberal' media had it on its front pages of newspapers, internet pages, radio & tv, this event is being shown on the back pages, you have to look for it- tens of thousands are protesting unlike the tea party movements where hundreds (at best) would show up yet garner more attention- 'liberal media' or fat cats 'systematic' media?
Yes, it is time for the American people to wake up to fight for their rights. Walk like Egyptians. You need to stop bashing other countries and it is time to look at issues in your own barkyard. Bashing other countries will not change what is going on in your own country but just fooled by your American government and media.
ull be amazed...the reason these tyrant rulers dont talk about this because they know that in the islamic economy the ppl prosper while in capitalism only the rich get richer and the poor get poorer...believe me...
forget about my identity as a muslim just think about it...u dont have to accept it if u dont like it but just take a look at this subject...its a really good alternative...
good luck in ur uprisings its about time that americans realise too what is happening in the world

Australia has had workers rights ripped away over the last decade as the unions became ineffective.
abigailmcintyre 11 months ago

Stop layoffs and auterity programs.

BowedOak1 1 year ago 3
@BowedOak1 All to true it's known as corporate welfare and has been going on for decades but nobody talks about it. In some states the companies receive a subsidy or tax break for every person they hire from a certain group (handicap economic race education etc) regardless of actual ability to do the job to the point they make twice what they pay the individual to employ him/her. Sometimes they get money to provide a service that will never be used or make a product that is also never used.

@michellehaas You need more education and less TV. Policemen and Firemen are included in the bill that takes away their right to collective bargaining. They (like the Teachers) are government employees..
Gamesman001 1 year ago
@Gamesman001
Try reading it...it's on Governor's website.
michellehaas 1 year ago
@michellehaas And you think they won't be next? lol MBA it figures! My brother who got his Engineering Degree at Va Tech used to tell me those that couldn't hack the math or science went the Business route. My experience with MBAs is that they are good with money but mostly out of touch with people outside the business community like their customers or employees. It also points to the source of your anti-union bias. The teachers are the only target? Yeah for now maybe.

Governor Walker is not attacking working class people, he is trying to save money by decreasing spending. For once, ALL the people of Wisconsin will benefit, not the pompous Government workers.

The Best Union shop in Wisconsin. The Green Bay Packers. Unions WORK!
uoyuoy444 1 year ago
@uoyuoy444
We don't need thm anymore because we have LAWS protecting us as employees, ie OSHA, The Unions have basically lost their purpose.
michellehaas 1 year ago

You may find me funny, but in this case, I am also right. Corporate America is not the dvil here, the Unions are when they spend $372 MILLION on political campaigns every year. That is a fact...look it up.

Taxpayers are tired of being looted by you.

@Minuteman9112012 only folks who earn less than 200,000 deserve a break.

@Minuteman9112012 Walker received huge sums of money from the Koch brothers, just as the Tea Party does. He ran a nasty campaign, designed to appeal to low-brow, racist fools. Apparently, WI has a good portion of idiots in its populace. The 2010 election had nothing to do with "the will of the people"; the Republicans, Tea Party, and the corporations that fund them know how to effectively use propaganda to appeal to stupid people.
heathdwatts 1 year ago 2
@heathdwatts The public sector union goes a step further by requiring union membership, taking union dues and sending them straight to the Democrat party...Funding more candidates demanding more tax money.
It's totally unsustainable and it has to stop!
It's not a matter of right and left, this will bankrupt the State!
How can you say that the election had nothing to do with the will of the people?
Are you just going for open revolution now because your side lost a midterm?
Minuteman9112012 1 year ago
@Minuteman9112012 Scott Walker gave $140 million in tax breaks to businesses that did not need them in January. Now, he is claiming that there is a budget deficit, but he caused the budget deficit. Of course, since there will be a $123M budget surplus in WI this year, the budget deficit will be <$20M. However, why is it that this Republican governor can irresponsibly spend away the state's budget surplus and then attempt to punish those who keep the state's infrastructure intact for his mistake?
heathdwatts 1 year ago
@heathdwatts A tax break is not "spending"
When private sector business flees the State, you have nothing.
Who is supposed to fund your out of control union and State government?
Other right to work States?
Hell no!
Minuteman9112012 1 year ago
@Minuteman9112012 Your answers come from "Faux" News, the lunatic Republicans, and your corporate masters. I can only hope that there are enough thinking people in the U.S. to counteract your iniquitous ideology.
heathdwatts 1 year ago 19
@heathdwatts You must be one of those "thinking people" huh?
All you ever do is revert to name calling and sheep like, false accusations.
Do you feel smart for parroting those same phrases that every mind numb moron on the left uses?
Minuteman9112012 1 year ago
@Minuteman9112012 The difference between my ideas and yours, is that I am using evidence to support my argument, while you are not. Walker squandered $140M in January, he's now claiming that a budget crisis exists, when there is not one. You don't like unions, so you think Walker's actions are justified, but you and he have no evidence to support your argument.
heathdwatts 1 year ago
@heathdwatts If there was no budget crisis, Walker probably would not have been elected.
You just refuse to see the big picture in that State. There is a $3billion hole.
If the bill is not passed, there will be layoffs, lots of them!
I don't know what tax breaks you're talking about, but if they kept business from leaving the State, they're better off in the long run. Once it's gone, it's gone!
Minuteman9112012 1 year ago
@heathdwatts , The number of thinking people is dropping rapidly. It's very sad. Intellectualism is derided by many. It's a cultural revolution.

@heathdwatts
WOW...I bet you are a Democrat. FOX news is the most objective and watched news network in the US. Try listening to a couple different news networks besides CNN and you will see who reports the most accurate news. Let me give you a hint becuase you don't seem too smart...that would be Fox News!
michellehaas 1 year ago
@michellehaas I don't get my news from corporations. I use NPR or the BBC. You are incorrect about my intelligence, dummy. Now go masturbate to Faux "News" like a good "conservative".
heathdwatts 1 year ago
@heathdwatts
You have no idea what my political affiliation is, again proof of no intelligence.
michellehaas 1 year ago

ESCAPEisaPARADOX 1 year ago
@ESCAPEisaPARADOX If WI were indeed in trouble, which it is not, then you chose a very unqualified person to address those perceived economic problems. Scott Walker is not qualified to fix problems, but he will create many during his reign.
heathdwatts 1 year ago
@heathdwatts You see, you're mistaken. My state is in trouble. Our debt is out of control, and some one HAS to do something about it. I'm not a huge fan of Walker, but he's not sitting around waiting for someone else to do something about our problem. He's attempting to fix it. Enough said
ESCAPEisaPARADOX 1 year ago
@ESCAPEisaPARADOX He is not smart enough to fix a problem. You've putting your trust in a fool that has played the same game before. If you're not a Walker fan, I hope you'll vote him out in four years.
heathdwatts 1 year ago
@ESCAPEisaPARADOX that he put your state in by giving away huge tax breaks to wealthy businesses and individuals
theivangrozhny2010 1 year ago
@theivangrozhny2010
Where are you getting this...Governor Walker cannot "give away" tax breaks...that is the job of the Legislature!
michellehaas 1 year ago
@heathdwatts I feel so bad for you. You're so worked up over this, do u even know the real issue here? Are you sure you're aware of what state is in trouble? Do you know what we're talking about even? This isn't an issue of "conservatives" or "liberals" right or left wings....this is a much deeper issue than that. Stop pointing fingers, and do some more reading on the Walker Bill. Please!
ESCAPEisaPARADOX 1 year ago
the reason you dont see them on the newspapers is because most of the country agrees with the cuts wisconsin has had to take. the spendings in the last decade have to be compensated. too bad they have piled up to the point of protests. but its necessary.
