  • There is no way that is dpf back. You can run a piece of five inch strait pipe behind filter and truck makes no more sound than factory. I just dont see where the sounds coming from, if it really is it does sound good, however my turbo back no muffler sounds awsome... I live in the county though. Banks does make nice diesel upgrades.

  • any tunes or intake?

  • @k42kartracing You betcha. For your LMM we've got the Six-Gun and EconoMind tuners—both of which can be controlled by our very cool Banks iQ "Man-Machine Interface." Plus we've got cold air intakes, intercoolers ... even braking products. Call 800-601-8072 or check out the Banks Power website.

  • Sounds stock to me.

  • what lift or leveling kit was installed on this truck ?

  • Wondering how it affected your gas mileage?

  • Im looking for some advice mainly on this comment. I have a 2011 Duramax and im thinking of going with a turbo upgrade for some more power. Should i go with banks or Fleece's Cheetah?

  • If you can hear the tires, the exhaust needs to be LOUDER! lol

  • Hey just a note folks: If you use the F-word on here, we'll remove your comment.

  • @BanksExhaust Ok so you mean "ford" right?

  • sounds like the stock exhaust to me? no noise at all. On the new diesels if you don't delete the DPF you won't have any good sound!

  • straight pipe it!

  • Well you can hear the tires pretty good lol. but exhaust sounds better then stock defiantly.

  • way to quiet for a diesel.

  • is this DPF back or cat back?

  • Our LMM exhaust is DPF back. Thanks for watching and thanks for asking!

  • what kind of wheels are those? What kind of lift?

  • wow, best LMM sound so far

  • What brand of wheels and tires are on the truck? Looks great!

  • Hey, how much quieter is it compared to MBRP? Does it still have a rumble?

    Thanks BANKS POWER

  • this is one of the nicest LMM"s ive ever seen. i love the look, did banks build this truck?

  • Hi ChevyPowa670. No, I don't think we did the build on this truck. I'll ask our install department if they have any more info on it (other than the previous tire size question). We do offer complete "make-over" jobs, like full power system upgrades, tires, suspension, custom hoods and fenders... we call them the "Banks Sidewinder All-Terrain" packages.

  • what size of tires and type of wheels are those?

  • Hey thanks for watching, AsBadAsYouWant. I believe this truck has 33" tall tires and 18" wheels.

  • Ya i just put on the dual monster exhaust on my tuck........looks cool but it does not sound like this one at allllllllllllllll!!!! other than the looks not much more, kind of a let down for me....maybe its the dual exhaust that cancels it out im not sure

  • or maybe its the fact that you still have the dpf and cat... your not gonna notice a difference unless you go turbo back and then it will really scream

  • yaaaaa i know that but taking all that crap off is wayyyy illegal isnt it????

  • Ripping the stickers off of your bed mattress is wayyyy illegal isnt it???? Lol just playin with you- but the only people ive seen get in trouble are the exhaust/performance shops that partake in the removal. Thats why nobody around here does it. If you do it yourself though, ive never seen anyone get hammered for it unless it was a domestic disturbance for noise.

  • hmmmm what about emmisions and inspections?

  • Just save your filter and stuff you can always put it back on once a year and tune your truck back to stock. And if you get a "fix it ticket" same deal- just slap it back on for a couple of days.

  • Does this have a muffler?? Sounds GREAT!! I want one!!!!

  • Hey there, ssquez. Our exhaust systems for the new diesels (Chevy LMM, Ford 6.4L and Dodge 6.7L) do not come with mufflers. Because the DPF is so efficient at canceling noise, there is no need for one.

  • thats a nice!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • do you have a dpf delete?

  • Hi 7fayette. Thanks for watching. No, we do not offer a DPF delete. The DPF is an emissions device and therefore we cannot legally sell a product for street use that eliminates it. A DPF delete would require both the exhaust component necessary (a piece of tubing to replace the DPF) and an electronic device to prevent the ECU from initiating a regeneration. We do not offer the exhaust component and our tuners do not prevent regeneration from occurring.

  • ok thx
