The sound is kinda mean, but it's very lame overall, 'cuz all he's doing is triggering a pre-written piece with his utterly talentless drumming. Each hit of the kick triggers the next note - so what? Can play the same tune with your computer keyboard, as well as the drums, with a keyboard-to-sample trigger program - big deal! ~:P
Well; I got to see him recently and it was tits. A bit busy taking photographs to spazz out but I did a good bit of gesticulating and got carpet burns from low angle shots :) Rockin'
He got Whisky Pecan pie in the end, which Damo Suzuki apparently enjoyed too.
You missed nothing when he played at the Brudenell. The crowd in there sucked, he even got booed by some people. Really killed it. There's this guy putting out so much energy and it just got sapped by all these bastards. pretty much everyone was sat down, there were litterally five people dancing. Next time he comes I'm writting a clause in my friendship contracts that everyone I know must attend, in spite of cost and previous engagement. you too.
