  • look 0:56, motor site goes shit, but the space of passengers doesn't notice nothing of impact

  • this is a strong van but the 3.2 gls triton is much more reinforced

  • whats the speed ? o0f the crash test

  • all Mitsubishi 1 ton truck are available in all around the world at this time (since about 8 years ago) are assembly from THAILAND.

  • @thaichubby101

Yes , at MMCT plant in Cholburi Thailand

It's debut with slogan "New era of mid-sized pick up"

    It's having a less Cd

  • D-max is better!

  • @nikooliver1 watch?v=pCtqFPfuKWs

  • mutch better then nissan

  • L200'S SUCK !!! WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER THESE PIECES OF SHIT FALL APART WHEN TAKEN OFF ROAD LET ALONE CRASH DAMAGE ..BOUGHT A NEW FORD AND CANT BEAT IT ..... L200 CAC....

  • sorry whee do i see how much stars this car got.. is defenitely than the ranger and navara but what about the hilux.. in terms of security--

  • Better than Ford.....

this is why we buy japanese the most.....

  • @Athrunwong we live in america not japan but american stuff thats actually doesnt look like a piece and fall apart ford last way longer

  • ITS BETTER THAN THE FORD RANGER!

  • The crash test dummies have opened the tap of the fuel tank back there....

  • @MDIVISIONRULES better than explode that, isnt? kkkkk

  • safe...

  • nice and safe!

  • My main concern with a pick-up crash is what if there is a load in the back for example fence posts or scaffolding. Surely it would ram through the rear window and knock out/spear passengers and pin them to their seats.

  • Unless its pointing into the window, I highly doubt it.

  • flex is good.!.....stiff is bad if you are involved in a crash.

  • good for you not the truck but i guese the person is all that matters but still imports dont make pickups like americans

  • to many small pieces of plastic is flying every where

  • I agree, it would cut and fuck up everyone inside. Theyd come out alive but only bearly..

what speed is this? it looks like 100k but i bet its only 50

  • the frontal impact is usually done about 60km/h.

for amazing crash test at 100km/h search for "old commodore crash test"

  • POS!

  • Great truck, especially for it's 28 thousands US dollars cost. I drive the same more than year and I like it. It's a good four-drive truck. And it has very good 2,5 liter turbo-diesel engine.

  • Good result this one. I like SUV/4x4s and have driven them for 11 years now. They give you a feeling of safety but have basic faults. One being that rigid chassis/frame vehicles usually do not have progressive crumple zones and whiplash causes neck injuries. The Landrover Discovery crash test against the big French Renault Espace kinda was an eye opener too!

  • @knausspiano Most good SUVs have rigid and strong passenger cabins to stop intrugen and protect the occupants but have crumple zones to absorb the impact.

  • best 4x4 in its class. wouldnt drive anythin else especially not the ranger or hilux. they are both made to a cheap budget weras mitsubishi have made a fantastic motor.

  • I too would have considered a flexible frame in an accident being less desirable than a rigid frame, but I would recommend that you should research your statement and discover the information that has changed my mind.

  • the result?

    it seem ok to me...

btw, the L200 scored the best in its category...

  • looks like paper.

  • I overturned one of this last year, it rolled three times and crashed a tree, I had to throw it away, but walked away from it without a scratch. I recomend L200 !

  • recycle

  • really good! much better than ford ranger

  • Comparing to its competitors, .ie., Ford Ranger, Nissan Nevara, Isuzu D-Max. This one score the best for EuroNCAP.

  • @kikecacique hahahahahaha!!! your a joke

  • @kikecacique

I'll never buy a Ford Ranger. One slammed into the back of my H3. This was my first accident on the highway ever! His car was smashed inward while mine was completely intact. Ranger build quality is TERRIBLY UNSAFE.

  • gerard 12668 the fasist

  • even in the rear, were there was no impact, with the shock it took it began to disintegrate, that means it's not that heavy duty on the long run...toyota hilux is tougher

  • You are talking about the plastic cover on the load bin ?

  • Yes , the piece of plastic behind the rear door.

It may seem nothing, but on the long run, giving it hell and bumps on the roads and rough terrain I think it won't last long as the old L200's, and mits suffer a little from rust too, great engine though. The Isuzu Dmax had it worse, even the roof folded, and the Hilux didn't pass the moose test. What it is happening with trucks today??? The old ones were tougher.Still confused on which to buy from those 3. Maybe and old Hilux will do

  • Rubbish. Do you know how much forces it put to the chassis to drive 60km/h to wall? Hilux would do exactly same, it aint any stronger.

In front suspension arm design and differentials hilux have always been weaker than L200.

  • The chassis structure in these new ones is stronger than in old ones, because of these saftey reasons. :)

The front is only soft, because it has to be crumble zone. I bet if you drive old hilux there, it will get quite more smashed. And good feature is, now they are offering more locking differentials. In many ways, I think this new L200 is clearly better than the old.

  • Thanks for the reply. I know about the crumpling zones in the front being softer for better inpact. Still am confused what to buy. Got a softness for Hilux's :) lol

  • Hilux aint bad either, I didnt mean that. :) Choose the one which you feel best for your use.

  • Thanks man ;)

  • nice, i wish they made something solid like this for the US. i don't think they made one for the US because it's so damn.......ugly.

  • se hace mierda xD

  • i like how it did

  • I've been in a crash like that.

  • that dummy cant drive...He went straight for the wall... Drives like a Asian.

  • do u have problem with Asian?

  • No I don't have a problem with Asians I just don't like how they drive.....

  • Yes, you're right. Asians are crappy drivers. They are rich people and employ drivers. That's the reason why they cant drive like you do.

  • ouch

  • glad we bought this truck than the isuzu rodeo

  • hahah Mitsubishi must teach GM how to make a truck, a safe truck. (Isuzu = GMC)

  • nice tho !

  • Mitsubishi here in US should've brought this real Mitsubishi pickup to North America, rather than that piece of shit Dodge Dakota-based Raider.

  • Yeah, here in Europe they have these L200s/Tritons, and i've been to the US and seen the Raiders and theyre horrible.

  • We know that the Dodge Dakota here in US is a piece of crap truck, and because of that, it's always a hard sell for Dodge.....and Mitsubishi doesn't know that!

Since I love the Outlander, I'd like to ask this: is the Mitsu Outlander selling fairly in Europe alongside with its VW Tiguan & Land Rover Freelander competitors?

  • yeah mitsubbishi has been really stupid with their trucks in usa the raider is a peice of shit and who the hells idea was it to drp the montero and add the edavedor

  • it has a 2008 model well they sell it as the pajero not montero by me

  • yeah iknow but here they dont sell anymore the closest to here they sell them from is mexico

  • thats sad cuz the 2008 model is really nice

  • i know it sucks dam them

  • Endeavor's not bad, but dropping the Montero in US was ridiculous. The 3rd gen Montero's the last one we got, while overseas, the Montero (a.k.a. Pajero) is already on its 4th gen. For Australian market, the 4th gen's 3.8 V6 has been retuned to match the HP & torque of the 4.0 V6 of the Nissan Pathfinder.

  • i know and the new engin is good but the heavy mitsu should have a v8

  • haha, this vid has the same amount of stars as the l200 got from euroncap.

  • lol

  • Yeah, L200's are the best.

    Mitsubishi own.

  • My dad wanted a Navara, and so did I, but after the NCAP ratings, Im definitely going to advise him to go for the L200

  • @s14asr20det go for the lancer ex :D

  • Yap, 4 stars. Its best pickup in Nissan Navaras and Toyota Hiluxes class. Best 4wd system, best engine and now its also most saftey.

  • I own an L200 it has a good engine, transmission but the quality of all the others components are not so good :( ... anyway i like this car (pick-up)

  • a lot better than nissan nivara

  • Yep that car was worse than a Rover 100 i think judging by the score

  • yay i'm the 1st

  • And?

  • Because its a pointless comment

  • you should learn how to respect other people classifires.

If you like the triton good for you, just 1 question if you find this boring then y are you watching it?!?!

  • I allready did

  • Still and?

  • he is right ur a dip shit
