Guy it is reasons like this song that I find it so hard to let go of you. Because when we were together, no matter how bad things were, that line was true,"don't know where I'm going, don't know where it's flowing, but I know it's finding you". It was the only thing I knew. So what do I know now? I'm lost. And the idea that one day you'll see me driving by in a car, would you bow and get in? It is an idea that I can't let go, I can't get past. I'm stuck here.

NewHopeNashFan, I could not agree more. I discovered the Go-Betweens by chance in in 1988 and became an instant fan of them and Grant's solo work. It's criminal that they to this day are virtually unknown here in America. Grant's music has a very profound and deep meaning in my life and that he passed away so young is something that I have a really hard time accepting. The GB's music is what took me to Oz for 3 months.  A country I fell in love with. Dunno if I can go back to Brisbane now. :-(

The Go-Betweens are worth ten times their weight in platinum set with emeralds and Australian South Sea Pearls. Grant McLennan is one of the few songwriters in the world worth mentioning in the same breath as Brian Wilson and Graham Nash. (A great loss, by the way!)
